Why do all these videos claim to show how to add someone as an admin to IG when they're being added as an admin on FB with access to IG. It doesn't actually grant them access on the IG app. Is this not obvious to anyone else? Or did I miss something?
Me too... And my company doesn't have a Facebook page, only Instagram. So it seems to be impossible to add another administrator just on Instagram.

@@ThunderBunnyCo I've read that you hve to have a FB page, even if you never use it, to have admins or whatever on instagram. I'm trying to sort this out too!
I get as far as 2:18 - having navigated to the page, but there is no 'settings' and I am prompted to switch to my main profile account.
I don't have the same screen when walking through your steps. Help
Go to account center, and then go down , you will see ADD MORE ACCOUNT button

this is like the most hoop-jump-through way to do something that should be at LEAST 5x easier (not your fault obviously). holy cow will meta make our lives easier for once 😭

So what I got out of this is I can't add any new admins to my instagram account unless my business also has a facebook page?
Except it does not grant acess to the instagram account automatically.

WEll that was shit. it automatically connected all the wrong facebook pages.
Is not possible to do it without Fbook? I don´t have my accounts between Fbook and Insta connected and I want to keep it like that.
