I believe a bunch of 481X car's have been on a Dyno before, they all proved John isn't lying.
Steve Morris made 4200 @ the hub around 55psi! SMX is a 481x just with water cooling! Horsepower can also be figured rather easily by Lbs of air, to lbs of fuel! It’s not complicated!
Lbs of air ? You can estimate horsepower by fuel flow rate . Never heard of anything telling you how many lbs/cc of air your flowing .
SMX is a Chevy based bottom end not a hemi bottom end like 481X
Maxed out at 80psi it should make close to 5,000 horsepower!
People talk so much sh:t about HP numbers. Most of them don't even know wtf they're talking about. HP is just one number in an equation that gets you from A-B. Luckily we don't race Dynos.
Put it on a dyno and shut everybody up. It doesn't matter how much it makes you need to win some fucking races

You have to take into account that the haters are driving a cammed ls or an old school 350 with a cam and headers that they swear makes 600hp or worst the ppl with a wrx with a loud ass blow off valve that they say is making 550 lol never even been around a car like yours I mean don’t waste your time making videos proving to ppl that don’t know what their talking about lmao

Hmm plugging 2750lbs and 200 mph in the eighth into the calculator it comes out to about 3000hp to the ground. Factor in drivetrain losses and thats close enough to 4000hp for me.
Not getting ovr 2000 hp until you slap on twin vtec and fart cans, then it'll hit like nitrous when it kicks in.... 5000hp easy, no turbos needed.
Mom let me drive her 2004 Civic vtec, puts out about 850hp when it hits the power band at 9800rpm.... lmao!
Seriously though, Larry Larson ran a 5 sec 1/4 a decade ago with his S10, IIRC with a Proline 481X,
then later Baily did the same years later with a Steve Morris 481X .
Get that car to break into the 5's @ about 245 in the 1/4, after that don't really matter how many HP it has.
Who's even able to safely and accurately get a dyno pull at those levels?

The 481x definitely does and the noonan hemi does to. They can go check out pro line race engine's the proof is in the pudding. For the people who don't think it does... I mean come on they dont know shit about cars or race engines and it shows 😅

Ryan is a no prep racer if he brought his car to a radial race it would shake his car apart and get his ass drug down the track! Now if Justin came to race that would be a different story those guys know how to radial race!
And Ryan was barely doing 200 in the 8th also in the gray car he's driving right now still has a 481x in it with a procharger on it same motor
