Playdate Mega mod 3D printed

This project is not affiliated with and also not endorsed by Playdate and Panic.
This mod allows people to customize their Playdate handheld's to be roughly the size of a Gameboy Pocket and you can use custom colors.
Note: I forgot to add a spot for an additional magnet on the back so the Playdate wobbles around.
I have included the fix down below.

Very neat! I'm upset that handheld makers focus on making their handhelds so tiny. I get that it needs to fit in people's hands, but our hands aren't infant-sized!!!

thinking about having my friend print this with a modification.. a channel cut between a and b! I think that could make it more comfortable to rest your thumb between the two buttons. nice work on the design! I have a lot of issues with the ergonomics of using the playdate with the crank and I think this could help a lot.

Add some SMD LEDs and a light guide and this would be perfect!

Put a raspberry pi in there and hook it up to the screen so you can emulate game boy games on this

You should definitely leave some wider uncovered spaces around the buttons, like the indents on the GBA SP, if you decide to do this again. having the buttons sit flush with the case like that can't be comfortable to use.

I need a mod for battery because it sucks, 8 hours is not enough.

The downside that I see is that now it will be more difficult to press the buttons

The only button that is more difficult to press is the menu button.
With the Picphone version, it should hopefully fix that.
