He sounded as good at the end a cappella as he does with music backing.
I always loved watching his show when I was a little girl. I had a big crush on him.
I guess you haven't watched much of Perry, they all say Dean is Mr cool ,but PERRY WAS BEING COOL before Dean,look back at lot's of Perry's shows ect I, know , I watched the lot way back then.
That was great! One doesn't think of Perry Como as having a znay sense of humor but apparently, he did!!! As a singer, you can learn a lot by listening and watching Como's seemingly effortless style. I've come to appreicate his body of work more in the last 8 years or so.
He had a terrific sense of humor. Perry was not just a wonderful singer, he was also a lot of fun to watch.
Perry was hysterically funny. And with no effort. It was part of his wonderful personality.

I wat this as a little kid. His humor and pleasant singing kept me watching. I recall a similar ending where the camera followed him outside the studio. May have been when he was changing networks or studio shows. It was from the old NYC studio. Does that clip exist?
