Is your car not turning off? It could be the vacuum actuator on the back of the fuel injection pump. If the diaphragm inside the actuator leaks vacuum, the actuator won't be able to cut fuel to the injection pump to turn off the vehicle.
@@FriendlyMBTech ... now I don't now if this is a clue to what could be the issue, BUT my W123 did not turn of suddenly, but rather slowly meaning in the beginning it would turn off after like 10-15 seconds. That makes me believe that I just need to find the spot that got a little bit "leaky" .
@@cblondesreport I would start by checking the that vacuum diaphragm at the rear of the fuel injection pump. If it has a small leak, it will do exactly what you're describing.
Pressure washed my engine bay, wouldn’t shut off and the pressure from the water must’ve disconnected one of the vacuum lines. 5 second fix and it shuts off again.
Great job tracking down the source of the problem! Keep up the good work!
Thank you sir, good video 👍

Wow my husband is so smart and good looking ❤️
Vacuum is applied to the shutoff valve to stop fuel? or vacuum is applied to shutoff to allow fuel to flow?
...darn, I just went outside to do this when I noticed someone prior already plugged it. Would have been such an easy fix :-)
