@@magraretsbane6274i would say it’s more of a FUZZ type of sound than gain, so it wouldn’t feedback as much! However I think it’s John on casino which is more of a clean tone. And then I think George is on either his strat or his sg, he could also be on his casino though!
@ I definitely agree with your guitar assessment, but I build pedals and fuzz is still under the umbrella of gain. The fuzz circuit that they had in their UL amps can manage a greater amount of gain than a lot of fuzz tones from that era
@ I mean yeah true, but I’ve played casinos before and they tend to handle fuzz a bit better than like pure gain. Also the Beatles did use the casino with fuzz before like on the paperback write riff for instance.
This kind of Discoveries makes you wonder how many instruments are hidden with these new mixes and remixes...same thing with she said she said in the 2022 revolver, martin's son just buried the guitars way too deep
Ta ta ta ta ta ta ta its getting better all the time
the 2009 remaster mutes the guitars. what you're hearing in the remaster is the bleed of the guitars into the drums and bass microphones
This is an exceptional cover. I've always wanted to hear someone accurately do these parts and you nailed it.
Just listen to the Revolver second version, unnumbered mix from the 2022 Revolver (Super deluxe) project.
That's the one!
this
Love the tone of the casino, anything in particular you use to get that sound?
Excellent!
I have a feeling that George is on the Casino while John is on the Black Strat as photos show the Black Strat next to a Bigsby Casino
I just can’t imagine the Casino not feeding back like crazy with all that gain
@@magraretsbane6274Ngl but think it’s the sg

Sounds great!

Stuff like this is why I want to hear all Beatles albums without George Martin. I want naked versions of all albums so we can hear the 4 of them.
How are you getting that fuzz tone on the strat? Are you using the mocker?
What kind of fuzz did you think was used? Tone Bender MK 1.5?
