The 95’s-98’s are my high school era so that pocket of time will be my favorite lines of shoe. But I do like the future of the shoe game so I do like the new 720 line. I’m not a fan of the 270 but a lot of people are. But low key the 270 are at Ross all the time and those are the shoes that go on sale in the outlets first.

Got a special AM97 Father of Air colorway to commemorate my 26th birthday (9/15) just yesterday since all the other stores ran out of 9.5 sizes, though it was the next day (the 16th) which sadly was one of the last few days my local mall was closing down with Finish Line being of them. Gonna miss my local mall.

I had the first edition as a kid back in 97, for me still the best edition, the silver colorway was super smooth kinda greyish, the mesh where the swoosh is was made of metal and I really loved the PSI imprints in the sole. It is hard to say but after 2000 the Airmax 97 become more cheap regarding the actually quality of the shoe and more expensive in the price. I always miss the little details from the early versions.

When NIKE recalled the Air Bakins, I took mine back to Footlocker and traded them for the 97 Air Max... I ended up buying another pair of Bakins a few weeks later. LOOL 97 was a great year for shoes.
AF1 are one of the cleanest trainers. But the creasing kills me, i got some fly knit AF1s that don’t crease man and they are one of the best trainers I ever owned.

Aww man I had some Air Max 97s. They were kind of silver, blue, white, and yellow swoosh and air pack. Wish I could find those again, they were really comfortable and basically lasted me into the 2000s

Wolff can’t get the silver bullets anymore in JD they were only out for year or two have to get them online on resale mostly as far as I know but there’s other colours in JD for €180
