The 1.3L turbo 3 cylinder has 175 ft lb torque at a very low 1600 rpm's which is fantastic. The curb weight is pretty light at 3290 lbs with this engine, AWD and 9 speed auto.
Just ordered me a 2023 LS. One of the things that sold me was that flat folding front seat. My kid will love riding back there with his feet up! And it's crazy that as of right now this is the most affordable GM vehicle you can order.
Ha. My brother who's owned V8 and V6 cars all his life called the 2.5L in my Escape a small engine. I told him a 2.5L is a large engine for a 4 cylinder these days!
These days you have to look at horsepower, not displacement. 5.0 liter Mustangs from the 80s only made 160hp, whereas a 1.3 liter in a Renegade makes 180hp.

The 1.3L makes 177hp. The 2.4 & 1.5L make 180hp. All of them are slower than my 2012 Ford Focus that had a 160hp 2.0L which could do 0-60 mph in about 7.6 secs. As far as the Mustangs, by the mid 80's the 5.0L/302 cu in was putting out 200+ hp. A 1986 Mustang LX 5.0L could do 0-60 mph in 6.2 secs. Its only worth to get the RS with some packages on it if you're going to get this vehicle, also oasis blue looks good imo. I don't know why people hate on this vehicle its plenty fast enough for real life tasks, more fuel efficient, safer and looks cool.

But this year, my mom totalled her Subaru and wanted a new car, me, my dad and her test drive lots of cars we tried some mazdas, Hyundai and hondas in the end, none of these cars worked for her we decided to test drive a Lincoln and she fell in love with it. We liked it to do it became our first American car. Ever since then, I had my opinion changed about American cars because that Lincoln is a true beast
In the Philippines and in Asia, the Trailblazer is a midsize suv with 7 seats with a truck chassis. Not really sure if ladder or body on frame. Also powered by a 2.8L Diesel engine with 200HP and 500NM torque and which way back in 2012 was the class leader in performance. We owned one for a short time. Times have now changed here and the Ford Everest took its position. It’s just weird that now it is only a crossover. Not sure if the current model here will have an all new setup because the Chevy factory in Thailand closed and they are struggling to gain sales here. It will be very expensive to import from Brazil. So yeah it’s now a crossover. Sad

GMC will launch a Hummer EV SUV in 2023, once Ford and Jeep launches a Bronco and Wrangler EV, The Hummer EV SUV will compete with the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler. GM basically has an Off Road Competitor but Electric.
@@justinsmith2598 The hummer is over $100k! :) The bronco "sport" is under 30k, and the "regular" bronco can be had for under 40. GM needs something to compete now with these offerings. They're making tons of crossovers, I'd love to see a mid-sized truck from them.

I think they're missing the mark by offering 5 crossovers.
I like the look of This car especially with blacked out trim with red exterior. If they bright back the SS trim and added an ls3 or lt1 I would be super interested in one.

I feel like Chevy makes some of their vehicles/trims with the rental fleets in mind. If they could differentiate the rental fleets with real buying consumers, they'd put together a slightly better product.
Subcompact crossover = compliance vehicle to bump up fleet fuel economy. None of them are exciting from any manufacturer, but they can be practical, just have to temper your expectations.
If I wanted to add something to these cars, then I would say maybe, some of the stuff that is missing in the back like arm rests, connectivity's as well like all cars have, and also a Trunk release button on the Key Fobs.
Before you do a review you should KNOW EVERYTHING the cargo area of the trailblazer has an option to put that "lid" for the cargo storage down and leaves at least a 2" lip so your cans won't go rolling out even on an incline. 😁
I beg to differ on the performance between the 2. We test drove a LT with the 1.3 AWD, & 9 speed trans. which is about 200 lbs. heavier than the LS 1.2 FWD with the CVT trans. There was no difference the ride or performance between the 2; If there was it's not noticeable. We ended up buying the LS with one option on it, & that was the cruise package ( Cruise control ) personally I like the wheels on the LS model more. I feel we got the best bang for the $$.$$$, & we can buy all the confections our hearts desired with the money we saved. Thanks for your review, & video.
I've said it before, I'll say it again: The 2021 Blazer is a great looking SUV. If they called it the new Equinox they'd be just fine. But, as a blazer, it is a complete and total abomination.

I did end up buying a 2021 trailblazer myself, I formally drove a 2004 Honda Element. The dual colors are striking, the stance is cool, just wish it had more attitude.

Chevy design is just unremarkable anymore. They aren't the best at anything. Pretty sure they use hard plastic in their suspension too because they don't ride well. What's wrong over there? The C8 Vette is amazingly done..

actually they are the best selling subcompact suvs right now...spending the least amount of time on a dealership lot. Everyone i know that has one really loves it

For the price, you get a great vehicle, AWD, and a peppy engine (175 ft lb torque at 1600 rpms!) in a light compact package (3290 lbs in AWD trim) that still offers a lot of passenger space and cargo room. Summer of 2022 now and they are still selling as soon as they arrive at the dealerships (especially the RS trim). Having said that if you start loading it up with a lot of options it can easily reach the price of a GMC Terrain SLT which is an entirely different class of vehicle. Keep the options to a minimum and the Trailblazer is a great deal.
Sorry, but when you are asking in the 20-30K bracket for a three cylinder?? Never going to happen!! I say that for 4cyl cars also, the moment they crossed the 30K threshold, instant NO!!

Chevy design is just unremarkable anymore. They aren't the best at anything. Pretty sure they use hard plastic in their suspension too because they don't ride well. What's wrong over there? The C8 Vette is amazingly done..

actually they are the best selling subcompact suvs right now...spending the least amount of time on a dealership lot. Everyone i know that has one really loves it
@@davidroehr1672 Agreed. Dale is completely uninformed lol. For the price, you get a great vehicle, AWD, and a peppy engine (175 ft lb torque at 1600 rpms!) in a light compact package (3290 lbs in AWD trim) that still offers a lot of passenger space and cargo room. Summer of 2022 now and they are still selling as soon as they arrive at the dealerships (especially the RS trim). Having said that if you start loading it up with a lot of options it can easily reach the price of a GMC Terrain SLT which is an entirely different class of vehicle. Keep the options to a minimum and the Trailblazer is a great deal.
