Sadly, the best they can do for Budokai Tenkaichi 1 is the opening since mostly all the songs on that one are from Budokai and we know the situation regarding those songs. What I would give to hear Moving Forward Fearless once more.

They added multiple irrelevant fodder characters like Cui, Frieza soldier, or Saibaman to the game, but not iconic OG Dragonball characters? Make it make sense. What a waste of character slots.

I doubt they'll add themes from the USA version like "Cell's theme". Most of us outside the US wouldn't pay for a pack containing those themes and paying for the licensing just for it to sell in the US isn't smart of them.

I think the reason you have to spend 30 FREAKING DOLLARS is because of licensing fees relating to getting the respective OSTs and songs in there. Unfortunate, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it were the case given how absurd Japan’s copyright laws are.
@@Conical187 It's not the Japanese laws, it's just music copyright laws as a whole which you have to pay the license for the music sheets/ the right to use the song and then the one to the record studio like Columbia Records if you want to use that exact recording (say the one used in the anime and available on CDs). So it's a double whammy which is why a lot prefer going the road of remixes because you just have to pay for one licensing fee instead of 2.
To anyone saying this songs should be included in the game, these songs are LICENSED, meaning it cost actual money to use them in a video game (the ps5 even stops recording the screen to block you from creating media with them when they're on). They chose to use their budget to give us 182 characters at launch with multiple fun game modes, so I'll gladly pay more money to have them in the game. Having Dan dan kokoro played when I go sparking mode with gogeta ssj4 is priceless.

Some of them also play during certains battle in story mode, for example during the cell game if you bought the anime pack you hear the original cell game ost
I set the BGM to match my team and the stage in online. The other player hears these OSTs regardless of their purchase if you play it as host. A nice touch

The price is the only complaint I have. Resident evil 2 and 4 remakes had classic soundtrack swap dlcs complete with even the sound effects of the old games for like 2-3 dollars or something I don't remember certainly less than 5 if I remember right and I happily got them. They were also just included in higher editions of the game. Honestly if it was the Bruce faulconer stuff for once I might actually consider it even for this price. It's so hard to find literally anything of the Bruce faulconer music without spending hundreds of dollars on DVDs the only place on the internet I can reliably find that version of the show is toonami aftermath and that's like a fan made scheduled TV channel I can't even just binge the show like that like I want to.
I think for 30 dollars they should have at least included more songs like Hikari No Willpower or Broly vs Gogeta, or hell Power to Resist, give us more

You can configure the sparking music of a character too. That how you access those music.

The price is the only complaint I have. Resident evil 2 and 4 remakes had classic soundtrack swap dlcs complete with even the sound effects of the old games for like 2-3 dollars or something I don't remember certainly less than 5 if I remember right and I happily got them. They were also just included in higher editions of the game. Honestly if it was the Bruce faulconer stuff for once I might actually consider it even for this price. It's so hard to find literally anything of the Bruce faulconer music without spending hundreds of dollars on DVDs the only place on the internet I can reliably find that version of the show is toonami aftermath and that's like a fan made scheduled TV channel I can't even just binge the show like that like I want to.
