I like Miranda in BC. It`s so balanced and maneuverable. You should try it against Centaur which is supposed to be it`s successor.

Mirandas have aft torpedoes. They even use them in one of the movies....twice.

A mirand class like taking a Iowa class ship ww2 and fitting with modern weapons without keeping the big guns.
IIRC Defiant used that strategy on a Vor'cha in the series.

GOG sells both Starfleet Command 3 and Bridge Commander, I just got both. They both work under Windows 10. They both do have widescreen/hd mods available too. Armada 2 is on the "coming soon" list as well. I still have my SF3 disk somewhere around, hard to believe thats now a super rare and expensive purchase.

Does anyone know how to get this game running as smoothly as it is for this person? I see many people asking online but I dont see many answers...the FPS seem fine when I move my camera, but everything else behaves like its at 2 FPS

@@germantrekkie I got the game off GOG, I'm assuming it has the 1.1 patch applied, I know I used a 4GB ram patcher that supposedly makes the game run better, but that doesn't seem to work. I'll have to take a look then, maybe I am running the wrong version indeed!
