"I met Dave"
I remember Dave"
"Dave came up to me"
Hey you know what would be great, DAVE BEING INTERVIEWED FOR THIS!
Probably he refused
Dave's not home man....
Dave was underpaid during the God hates us all tour and still spit about it ... I don't blame him either.
Im sure he turned it down
Dave probably went "nah"...
Got my eardrums blown off right from 0:00 thanks :D
Hahahahaha mine too
I know it scared me, hilarious
had just put my head phones in ...fml lmao
kenshiro84 Slaaaaaaayer!!
Thanks Tom...
Slayer is the reason I got into metal about 5 years ago. I'm in India and will graduate college in an year and have always dreamed of seeing Slayer live after graduation because it just isn't possible before that. Incredibly sad it will never happen. Their legacy will never die, though. FUCKING SLAYEEEERRRRR
SLAAAAAYEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRR
Jesus saves
Jesus saves
Respect
I hope you got to see them before they retired. I got to see them play a few times here in Norway and also once in LA
Slayer is retiring because Tom has achieved Wizard status with that beard. He's gotta go do some studying.
Well earth has wizards now
Maybe he is an avenger
Tom has a Santa vibe goin
Tom is so precious. He’s a wizard grandpappy troll doll
He’s become a metal god
0:00 this is why I love Santa , I mean Tom Araya 😀
Sad, should've had interviewed Dave. He is one of the most influential metal drummers of all time hands down. Definitely forged his style into slayers sound.
At least he mentioned Dave :(
Leo but not to be interviewed is not right
Zoid Entertainment He VERY likely was asked and refused. He had openly stated he wants nothing to do with them at this point. He moved on.
He (Dave L.) felt that he was being underpaid for European tour that was making millions supposedly for their record label. From what i heard, when he asked Kerry about it Kerry basically said to stop asking about $$ or find a new job. Lombardo has been with Suicidal Tendencies (and a few other side bands) ever sinse.
Nice intro
🤘 S L A Y E R!!!!!

Thank you, Slayer (& Exodus & Forbidden) for all the great music over the years. Saw you guys in Cleveland (Diabolus in Musica tour) and met Tom and Jeff backstage. Great guys! Made me feel welcomed and really appreciated as a fan. Tom had a great sense of humor. He signed my poster without even having to ask. Been a fan since Show No Mercy. You guys are great!
Still cannot believe it’s actually coming down to the finale of the worlds greatest metal band. They will always be the best and have set a precedence and a level I don’t think any other band will get to. Slayer for life!!
good news is now kerry can now work at that golf course since he has no hair
LMAO
Hair today, gone tomorrow
#dead

Watching Slayer live is a experience. I'm glad I watched it with Jeff and dave.
Best metal band in the world!! Followed them from day 1. They’ve never sold out or changed for anything. RESPECT 👊👊 RIP JEFF.
Diabolus in musica rings any bells? 😅
Does King shower with those sunglasses?
DV DODDS im 100% sure they do
DV DODDS he’s a fucking ass clown.
He doesn’t shower...
@@jesvs4697 dave said he never wants to get with them together again
He showers in the reign of blood.
I cant get over the fact that these dudes are realy sympathic and mellow. Especially tom, something about his voice. He sounds like a realy nice person, like a loving grandad that reads stories to his grandkid on his knees:)
Tom scared me in the beginning 😂
Grandpa tom,why? He is a great grandpa.he is hip.!!💡👍😂
Good! SLAYER! Is still working.
My life was changed one night laying in bed, I was 12 and stayed up to listen to the midnight metal show on the local rock station (Metal Shop on Rock 100.5 The KATT in OKC) Rain n blood came on and I have been screaming SLAYER!!! ever since.
really wish Dave was involved with this. No disrespect to Paul intended
Seen Slayer 18 times over the years. THANK YOU for the Decades of quality Metal. May your music live on forever \m/\m/
Hell awaits, for all the fans we will not see Slayer live. :(
AntiLukas lol poser.
AntiLukas I’ve seen them 3 times. I’m so glad I have
Poser? Why?
I'm seeing them
I seen them every time they headlined in Seattle starting in '86, except for 2010, I was in jail and this last time last summer..oh I seen Clash of the Titans tour, they took turns headlining thru out the tour
my slayer memory:
1987 @ 13y.o having a fukn badass reign in blood/do you want to die shirt.
I always felt 2 feet taller & louder every time i wore it.
Rip & thankyou Slayer for your creation of some of the best & always relevant 'real metal' on this forsaken planet. ever. 🤘
Accurate pronunciation of Slayer 0:00
Slayer [x]
SLAYER [✓]
Little did they know they were gonna be one of the greatest bands to ever exist
Thank you SLAYER for everything you are the best
Rest in peace
Jeff
Angel of DEATH
No issue with the guys in Slayer (really just Kerry & Tom now) retiring, they have left their mark on heavy music.
The first four albums are metal essentials.
First 6 you mean! Seasons in the Abyss and Divine Intervention kick ass
WhatABurger all albums from show no mercy to repentless do
I love God Hates Us All and World Painted Blood.
Thread Bomb yeah those are good too
I'm so glad I got to see the original line up
why ignore dave lombardo? hes a big part of your sound even if he have undealt business with you. just figure things out ffs
Agreed. If it's the end, at least make it awesome.
Nah, I can't see it, not how they roll. He was huge though so that's unfortunate.
Maybe due to Lombardo ignoring them instead?
CC S he is in Suicidal Tenthisies now
Not to mention he's on tour with Dead Cross
0:01 RIP headphones user

you really think slayer's fans are so weak?
TuhanRock lol I clicked on your comment and it took meh to a website
I love Slayer and IMO Season's in the Abyss (1990) is their best album. Reign in blood (1986) is their signature album & fastest. South of heaven (1988) is the opposite of reign in blood. Hell Awaits (1984) is good. Show no mercy (1983) is their debut album. Decade of aggression is a great live version slayer has..
Slipknot has or had the biggest sound & was the loudest band when they first came out. Slipknot's debut album and IOWA are before they went mainstream. Joey Jordison has got to be one of the best drummers I've seen. Dave Lombardo from Slayer is great too.
Devin Andres slipknot is my life
I love Paul's first intro to them...he always sounds like a nice guy.
I fell asleep while watching some other video about Slayer and this came about and that " SLAYER " in the beginning scared the death outta me
Saw Slayer open for Wasp at the Tower in Philly back in 1986 or so and It was Way fuckin different then my previous concert experiences with Ozzy, Crue, Sabbath/ After the set Dave jumped in the audience and on top of me and when leaving I noticed the first 4 rows of seat backs were flat and all fucked up. Went out and got the Reign cassette with the whole album on each side. The Best to this day. Epic fuckin band. Not one bad Album. SLAYER!!! 666
Um Repentless was terrible, don't be a fanboy
jim perry you're fucking crazy !
I saw that show @ Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio a triple bill with Raven
Just started listening to Slayer, why did I miss this as a teen. 40 years later.........,
Die hard fan, even tattooed the logo with the date on it on 6/6/6 two blocks from temple square in salt lake city, only wore slayer shirts exclusively for 3 years. I'm asking from man to band that you guys give us one last studio album, all of the material king has on reserve, both Paul and Dave cut tracks as well as guest solos from guitarists that were influenced by slayer, make it a going away album that wraps it all up in one Badass celebration album. Just some ideas but I have tears in my eyes right now in hopes that there will be one more studio album. See you guys Aug 16 in Oklahoma where I'll be taking my gf to her first metal concert ever! May SLAYER be with us all forever in our hearts souls and daily life. I have a saying I've told my friends for years, "Don't become a Slayer song" that's one way Slayer has positively influenced my life.
35 years later....still a fan.
I already miss this band :(
I can’t un-see Tom in those shorts at 0:32. 😕. ⚡️Slayer⚡️
Happy I got to see the original lineup. F**CKIN' ⚡️L A Y E R!!!
You just slayed my ears at the beginning.
Tom Araya, how are you man? I was a cab driver in Denver, we went to a couple of bars, smoked a couple of doobs, you were a pretty cool dude. I don't know if you remember me, but you rock man!
The Metal world will be MUCH more empty w/o these giants..thank u for so many yrs & so many awesome moments..u r irreplaceable.
37 years!! Thank you SLAYERRR!!!🤘
I raced Kerry king when he was in his red corvette down the street of Peoria in the 90s lol.I had a 1968 GTX with a 440 motor in it.
Dave Lombardo could have been interviewed separately.
chucky lee ray nope..lol
You guys are Gods love you !!! Thank you for all the great shows !!!❤️❤️❤️
Heck of a ride guys. Thanks for the trip.
Slayer fan for life🤘
Can't wait to see them on May 29th and August 6th

#Slayerwehrmacht
#Slayernation
Best band on the planet hands down. Thank you guys for 37 years of absolute awesomeness!!
Very interesting! Can't wait to see more of this series. Looking forward to seeing them one more time in May. Thank you for everything Slayer!
Slayer helped me survive my dad, thrash came at the perfect time for me.
I love these stories. It's always interesting seeing how bands come together. Slayer is awesome!!
Just seen slayer on there last tour well worth the wait
SLAYER IS THE RULE!! \m/
I remember getting *Reign In Blood* the week it came out and being blown away by it. That deep dark foreboding aura that was captured on vinyl emanates and fills the room every time it's played. And to this day, no other thrash album has surpassed this seminal masterpiece which just about single-handedly kicked-off an amazing vibrant metal scene that sure was a thrill to be alive during. Although there was the sizeable dumbed-down masses who just didn't get it and only heard "noise". Their primitive ear couldn't handle the complexity, skill, and technical prowess, of a sound that was way ahead of its time. As now, I recently heard *Angel of Death* on the tv advertising the return of Buffy! lol!
I love everything about SLAYER!!!!
The best extreme metal band of all times.
Tom Araya+Full Volume+Yelling "Slayer"+No Warning= Pants shitted
RIP Jeff Handlebar
rip schindlers list
Antares lmao
Carlos Juarez. Chester benningfuck LMFAO
Kurt Cobain was cool tho. He surpassed Elvis Presley in the world record of some music establishment... He created the "alternative" genre that began in the early 90's
I didn't care for the alternative style to much but Nirvana & the grunge style I liked. Alice n chains, Stone temple piolets, were good. Green day and the smashing pumpkins I never liked. But that's just my opinion. Deicide & Glen Benton were insane with Amon- feasting the beast when they rised out of the swamps like a leviathan in Tampa, Florida 1990.
Of course I had my volume cranked at the beginning. Tom, you rascal; I've shat my britches.
I get to see Slayer on their farewell tour at the beginning of the summer, and I get a meet and greet with them! I'm so excited (:
Great stuff guys. Real happy to see this!
Wish it would make more chronological sense
Been jamming to slayer since day one.
Most likely I will see them in may,at the coral sky amp.for sure.i love this wild band.!!🥁🎸👍💡🎶😀
561!
Thanks For Everything Slayer♥️🤘
That day in the record shop ,i was 14 , 1982 . Slayers Haunting the chapel appeared in front of me .. Changed my life .
I had my volume up at the beginning...
It was worth it. 🤘
very cool story of how they started...
i remember when i ran into a drummer from a band in their early years.. he was working at sharper image store in fashion island newport beach... (he was a pretty boy)
This was GREAT!!
Chitown Cat On my way now.
Chitown Cat I went there and straight called the channel owner a closet-homo, the worst kind because they spread hate, for what they truly desire.
Thanks for letting me know.
what an idiot I'll be right over to his channel two give hell
I am so glad I am seeing them live before they break up
Thank you SLAYER.
I turned the volume down before watching this again, and Tom still almost blew my ears out
This was great to watch
Would love to see these guys one more time. Best live speed metal band ever.
Kerry King "Finding Guys" that made me chuckle!
favorite metal band ever, it's been an incredible ride, not going to miss them as i have all their albums \m/ SLAYER FOREVER!
No band is an island etc, but boy am I going to miss Slayer. What a legacy!! 🤘🏻😎
Bring Dave back!!!!!!!
Roberto Carbonell i always wanted lombardo,he is the very best
And jeff
Unfortunately It will not happen, they cannot forgive him leaving the band in 1986 and 1991 - for Dave his priority was and will ALWAYS be his family.
I love you slayer!!!!! See you in San Jose this August!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🌩
Sometimes i'm sad i was born only in 2006 and started listening to you only when i was 13 and you retired:( i think i will never be able to see any of band members in person, because i live on another fricking continent. But it's insane to think, that being connected to me only by music, you change my life so much, hell you don't know most of your fans, but you are able to make their lives better. You will always be my favorite band
*inhales*
FUCKING SLAYEEER
Love love love
All of the guys had their roles in the band, but Jeff gave special flavor. RIP Jeff!
Beautiful
37 fucking years! That's just unbelievable. Enjoy your retirement fellas, you've earned it.
At least 1 more Album please
Jack yes please I hope so just as much as you do
No, if it's anything like Repentless they need to retire
jim perry it’ll probably be different because Gary Holt will help with the song writing since he didn’t get to on repentless
They need to hang it up for real...
well kerry said in a interview that there is leftovers from repentless so they'll probably release some ep
I love you kerry king and jeff ....i miss you
I just watched them last Friday
Slayer freaking RULES!!! Long live SLAYER!
Congratulacion 🤘😎
i met Kerry King back in 2002 in Vancouver bc and i asked him to sing a piece of paper and i had no pen so he kept going for some food and he had no body guards
Kerry was very nice person
I've already watched them two times, own every recording they've made & never displeased listening to one of the BIG4 Lords of THRASH METAL!!!!
I really love this band because this band I like music, dreams I want to watch the concert live but it is impossible😭😭😭
GREECE NEEDS SLAYER FOR THE LAST TOUR 💀🇬🇷
Bring back Dave!!!! 37 years, should overcome any issues they have!!! Slayer is Dave, Dave is Slayer!!!🤘🏼
Love SLAYER
i've seen this video countless of times and every single damn time I'm never expecting that brutal intro lol
I can’t wait to see you guys. This is going to be a fucking historical tour
