    Thank you so much , but in the sucrose why did we put beta for fructose the OH was down ?

      Coz of Glycosidic bonding because we use alpha Glucose and in alpha Glucose in C1 OH is down the plane of ring

    Here ,forming lactose you use beta D glucose but shouldn't it be alpha D glucose ??

    Why both molecule of disaccharide written in fix direction. Inverse the position of galactose and glucose then. How to decide which molecule should be written first
