- The official version of Tribal is amazing, but I can't help thinking it's too short... So, here's an extended version I made just for fun. It's basically a mix of the normal album version and the instrumental version. Enjoy!

the cool picture at the intro of this song where it sounded a little different and had some very cool were it looks like the way that Floor's face blended with the forest like the band came from the wild to give us a message. the fact that she loves horses means to me she's probably an equestrian someone who is quite comfortable around big animals like that says something about her personality the fact that i didn't see them being skittish around her how warm and friendly she is towards animals whether they are domesticated or not just an observation from some of the videos she released that show some of her domestic life

When I first heard this song I thought it should be longer and whilst hearing it for the first time I thought it should go something like this, a format we're used to hearing from NW. Glad I'm not the only one, so glad I've come across this - will be on repeat now I guess 😂
I think most, if not all, NW fans who liked the original always complained it was way too short. Well not anymore - this extended version is amazing! Great job, Paashaas, absolutely loved it! Thank you.

If I may give some feedback? At 0:43, 1:21 and 2:00 we hear the same part, making the song sound really repetitive so maybe remove the second and third parts? Yes, I know the second is originally in the song but the first one fits so well and we wanna keep the song *fresh*, right? And for the skeleton dance part I would extend both halves individually bcuz now it sounds just like it repeats. And that’s all! that end is just perfect! Btw I love the visual effect when sh*t hits the fan at 4:10 lol

I still remember having doubts about what to do with the skeleton dance part. It's just like you said: first you hear the instrumental version (which already has some vocals in it), directly followed by the normal version. Maybe it would have been better to create a short break between those parts. It was difficult though to find points in the track where I could make transitions into other parts and to be honest I was very glad already that I had managed to create a transition from the first into the second skeleton dance without hiccups/timing issues, so it ended up like this anyway ;-)... Thanks a lot for taking the time to comment and glad you liked the video 👍

Since it's still Easter at the moment (April 5, 2021) 🐣🐥: did anyone find the little (visual) easter egg I hid somewhere towards the end of this video? Question of the Nightwish Army's Cuneiform Intelligence Unit - any idea what the symbols say? (I'm thinking it's Sumerian and I don't have that book to hand.)
There's some information about the symbols in the link below. I don't know for sure if it's accurate, but it could very well be? linguistics.stackexchange.com/questions/33901/how-to-find-translation-for-cuneiform-script-containing-man-and-heaven-god
@@Paashaas2013 Ok, so the top symbol means N (for Nightwish) and God (which proves that fan theory).
The others are still a mystery, but cuneiform is syllabic. One symbol always represents consonant-vowel or, I think, vowel-consonant-vowel.
This would be enough for the columns to spell out the title of the album, but I've not yet shown they do. Still, it's a creative approach, if I'm right.
Please don’t say Nightwish army ever again. And the symbols individually mean Human and God

The other posters have taken the time to respond courteously and, just as importantly, correctly.
I can tell you can't read cuneiform (I can) for the simple fact that there are at least four words present and none of them mean "God".
@@jonathanday6692 From my knowledge its Akkadin for Sun - spelled as Shamash. in Arabic the word is still used as Shams for Sun.
It’s funny that Floor is probably the biggest proponent for making NW’s sound more raw and metal. She said in a recent interview that Tribal was the song she looked forward most to performing live. And I don’t blame her. They went Pantera-hard on this song and I wish they would make more music like this.
I'm not really familiar with Pantera (yet), but if you're saying their style is a bit like this song, then I should definitely check them out. Thanks for commenting 👍
