Dank je James! Hier is de live versie toch echt iets anders dan de studio versie 😄. Het intro was het lastigste deel om goed te krijgen, o.a. qua timing. Vanaf het moment dat de drums erin komen lopen de live versie en studio versie weer synchroon tot en met het einde.

Scaretale is definitely on my list, I haven't really tried it yet though. The not so great sound quality (as you already mentioned) will make it very difficult, but maybe it'll help that I have better audio software now than a few years ago.. It's certainly worth a try!

Thank you for commenting! There already are a few instrumental versions available on UA-cam, if you search for 'Nightwish sleeping sun instrumental' you'll probably find them (that's how I found both the 1999 en 2005 instrumental version 😊).

In case you're interested: it's also fairly easy to create an instrumental version yourself. There are various websites that can do this for you, for example remove-vocals.com. All you need to do is upload a wav/mp3 file. It usually gives pretty good results.

Dank je James, er zijn intussen nog meer remixen voor je playlist in de maak! Dit nummer was goed te doen, zelfde tempo/toonhoogte etc. De laatste noot van Marko was de grootste uitdaging: in de live versie zat daar veel gejuich van het publiek doorheen, daarom heb ik geprobeerd deze langzaamaan over te laten gaan in de eindnoot die hij in de studio versie zingt. Easter egg 🥚: ik heb stiekem ook nog een paar lachjes van Floor aan de mix toegevoegd. In de studioversie hoor je Tarja lachen in het instrumentale deel vlak voor het laatste refrein, nu hoor je ze allebei 😊

@@Paashaas2013 Dat Easter egg had ik nog niet gevonden, maar ik ken het origineel ook helemaal niet. Ik ga er naar op zoek!

@@jamesschwarz007 Het zal misschien lastig worden om Floor en Tarja van elkaar te onderscheiden, ze klinken bijna hetzelfde als ze lachen (ik kan het verschil zelf nauwelijks horen 😄).

Good question, after reading your comment I listened to it again and it sounded a bit weird to me too. I didn't change anything in the audio/video though... Maybe UA-cam screwed up a bit, it certainly did that with the video images, they are much darker on YT than in my original video. I'm considering to create a new version of this remix, because I use different audio software now (it might improve the sound quality).
