We made a mistake on the written specs at 22 seconds. The weight of the scooter is 47 lbs. Thanks for catching that @chaxologist2961

Overpriced at $1449. I got my VMAX Pro GT for $809, and it really is almost on par with this scooter. Mileage is very close. I do have to say, the Extreme's screen does look pretty killer, but everything else is close to the same, but at a cost of $650 more? 🤔 Mmm, no.

@FriendofBruno It is you that is incorrect here.....The link to the site defaults to the 'LT' version, which is priced at the lower cost as you mentioned, but the GT version, the one in this review, is in fact priced on the manufacturer site $1449.

I've had it about a month.
You should do a full range test. The power meter is not remotely reliable. I did 5 miles and it listed 99% power.
It really seems to favor ~46% battery on the meter, no matter how much range you did, it stays at that level for miles.
I like it a lot more than my ETWO-W rebrand, but I do miss the folding handlebars.
I recommend it if you need the range at that weight. I'm in a 3 flight walkup.
Though I don't recommend their phone mount. It attaches to a plastic cover over the handlebar, rather than the actual handlebar, there's too much play.
I run it at 32.5 psi and minor NYC bumps are no problem. Full 45 psi is really jarring.

Yeah, that was me who commented on your Reddit post about comparing the VX2 Extreme to the Apollo Go lol.
Too lazy to change my profile and I rarely if ever comment on Reddit at all but I did on those extremely rare occasions because I am extremely particular and passionate about electric scooters!
Yes, I now have an Apollo Go and have put nearly 200 miles on it in just the course of over 2 weeks!
Love it to death and I am able to ride 19 miles on it on Drive mode at 18mph (with some short bursts of 27mph Sport mode and a mile-long section of 10mph Economy mode) in a modest 2 out of 10 acceleration to sort of replicate the power of my old Segway F2 Pro at single motor when on a leisure ride, draining the battery down to roughly 15%.
Gets the job done for my nearly 2-hour, multi-modal commute each way that requires a 13-15 mile scooter ride round-trip to and from work involving NJ Transit and local subway systems with several flights of stairs!
I inflate my tires to 45 psi and thanks to the dual-suspension, it eats through bumps like nothing and not once do I feel like losing control of my scooter even though it sometimes feels jarring.
Your VMAX VX2 Extreme GT seems fabulous at completely eliminating range anxiety out of the equation no matter how low of a psi you run your scooter on while even on my Apollo Go, I'd start worrying when the winter comes wondering if it can cover 13-15 miles in a day without going below 10%!

Surprised you are the very first English-speaking or at least American UA-camr to review the VMAX VX2 Extreme!
I could've chosen this scooter any day over any other for its phenomenal power and range plus fabulous build quality but the lack of at least a front spring suspension for such tremendous power and speed under 50 Ibs is a deal breaker for me in safety and control.
This scooter is supposedly built for European roads and infrastructure which are much smoother and far less potholes compared to American roads as well as stricter e-scooter speed restrictions down to 15 mph.
This may explain my theory as to why VMAX have forgone any suspension in this particular model under 50 Ibs.
So I got the Apollo Go instead which is easily the primary head to head contender to this scooter being under 50 Ibs and portable in public transit!
Superior comfort, ride quality, safety and control with the dual suspension in addition to adequate range and speed is my primary concern for my needs and commute through some pretty rough roads in NYC so I chose the former over the latter!
And correction on 0:22 on the stats: The VX2 Extreme GT is actually 47 lbs (21 kg) which is roughly the same as the Apollo Go!
You must of stated the weight of the scooter inside the package, adding up the total weight so please correct it on the description!

Segway F2 Pro is way cheaper at $700 and that comes with a front spring suspension!
VMAX has the audacity to ramp up the power and price of the VX2 even further while forgoing suspension!
One reviewer already crashed in this type of scooter (just the Pro) hitting innocuous tree root bumps on a wide and open path with plenty of space traveling at 20mph!
Shows how dangerous it is at that amount of speed and power with no suspension!

Nothing to do with this scooter but i hope e charging becomes more common. I've been at ebike shops and it's like im the first person in history to ask where to charge.
Nobody knows. Nobody has ever asked. Funny that the e scooter was made in 1898 was it, and a hundred years on, charge it?
E bike shops I thought might offer charging? Non I've found yet.
    Disinterest.
