A word of warning with Apollo Scooters.....they are sort of operating a ponzi scheme....top notch marketing bringing in tons of advance sales but totally underperforming on delivery. I ordered mine back in August..finally received it in October and they shipped it with a faulty charger (maybe a faulty scooter but still to be determined). They were out of battery chargers so I had to wait another 6 weeks for a charger. The replacement charger doesn't work. They are sending another one ~someday~. So, six months later I have a very nice looking scooter sitting in my garage.
@@DavidWilliams-bu8xt Now I know...most of UA-cam reviews are sort of bogus and not real world. Maybe buying on Amazon ensuring inventory status and actual buyer reviews are the best way...IDK
@@DavidWilliams-bu8xt BTW....three chargers later, they gave me a shipping tag to send to SoCal for repair....I sent the scooter in December and I still don't have it back.
Agreed. Apollo is a joke and products are lemons. They buy cheap Chinese products and market them as Apollo. Mine was plagued with faulty parts and components and will attempt to re-sell if it ever gets back from the repair shop.
I am fascinated with e-bikes and scooters. Unfortunately, this technology may have passed me by. I had to be in Boston in July and November (2022), and being a college town, many students were riding on scooters, e-bikes, and e-skateboards. That got me thinking of getting an e-bike or scooter. I'm looking at the Cyrusher Kommoda for $2099 (black Friday prices). When I moved a year ago, I gave away my six bikes as peddling was starting to be a hurdle. But with the e-bike's peddle assist, I would enjoy getting out in the fresh air and exercising. If you are 78 or older, I'd like to hear what you would do!
78 is still young. There’s no reason you could not enjoy any of these scooters. Just because the wolf does 62mph, doesn’t mean you have to operate it in maximum. Have some fun.
I’m not 78 or older. But kudos to you for wanting to stay active (it’s critical!) and have fun! My grandfather was playing sports right up until he collapsed on a golf course last year (RIP, older than you). We all have every reason to live our lives well! IMO, e-bikes and seated EV scooters would probably be best for you. Unfortunately, you kind of have to live in the right kind of town to commute on a bicycle, but if you have safe places to ride an e-bike is a great way to get exercise and reduce strain! For towns like mine with few sidewalks or bike lanes, 35-45 mph car traffic, a Vespa-style seated scooter makes more commuting sense… but you lose out on the exercise (at least you get fresh air and sunlight!). I would really like to see more seated scooter EVs, but Vespa/Piaggio and Niu are making some great options, especially for someone like me who wants an EV for town hopping but can’t afford a Tesla/extra $40k car.
@@evshrug a lot of electric scooters come with a seat option. I recently bought a nanrobot lightning which came with a seat option (that I declined). My wife and I also have Taotao 50cc scooters that we like to ride around town. Yes, they’re not breaking any land speed records, but we find them fun for just bouncing around town. Exercise is very important so we go to the gym a few times a week to stay healthy (stationary bike or treadmill for some cardio)
My ebike is too big and heavy to take anywhere in the car. (I got the lectric cheapest bike) I all but gave up on it because of the weight. It also has a smaller handlebar than any regular bike. It makes it difficult to make sharp turns. So... I got a scooter to get from my house to the park. It's lighter. (Still heavy to carry), but it's OK to put in the truck. It's also smaller to store. It's easier to Maneuver in tight spots. I settled for the segway scooter which is four hundred dollars. I personally like it a whole lot better because it's more convenient.
Interesting. It’s not as appealing to me as the Hiboy S2, but maybe that’s because where I live I wouldn’t be able to use anything above pedestrian specs. Can you see yourself making use of the features? The top speed of the Emove and other scooters on this list still aren’t fast enough to keep pace with street traffic (plus… idk, people in cars don’t always see standing people, so even a the few scooters that could go 35/45mph wouldn’t feel safe to me)… so the extra cost of the Emove would go to waste. The suspension and colors are cool. I bet I would love the Emove cruiser if I lived in a bike friendly town like I’ve seen in Bozeman Montana, or cities down south with slower traffic and bike lanes.
I have the Hiboy S2 ... It's actually pretty good. I bought an extra battery pack for it, because you can remove it and replace it with another one. As far as I could tell only 2 other scooters on this list could do that. The rest the battery is fixed to the scooter. I don't care for that. As when the battery is dead, you have to send the entire scooter into the factory, on your dime... dead as in the battery no longer holds a full charge/doesn't stay charged... And when you have a back pack, and a second battery, your range is doubled =) And the charge time isn't that bad. The Emove I suspect would have the best range , looking at it's specs and it's construction materials... however, for the price, I would still go with the Hiboy. I live in the PNW, and it's hilly and rainy here, and the Hiboy does just fine. It has replaced My 2016 Mustang and my 96 S10 as a my daily commuter, if that's any indication.
Wish we could get a list of entry level scooters for kids. I just got the Hyper Jammer for my son and it seems promising for the $50 price tag. Once he outgrows that, I would like to give him mine, but I don't think any of these scooters will last that long. I also wish these types of videos came with some actual testing and not just far fetched marketing claims tested in ideal conditions.
You poor thing. I regret buying my Apollo City Pro 22. Nothing but faulty parts and components. It’s been in repair shop too much. I’ll sell you mine for 1/2 the price. Lol. Buyer beware, Apollo is a marketing company, not a product driven company and they pay for all this “earned media” btw.

I’ve decided to get a one wheel soon because I’m close to the company’s location and don’t trust any scooter company after even the best reviewed ones have plenty of people with bad experiences with both the product and customer service , sad cuz I’d prefer a scooter over a one wheel.

I don’t think it’s limited to the Vsett. A friend of my mine has a nanrobot D5-same issue. I believe the tires on most of these scooters is too small and easy to get flats. My wife has an evercross and I have the nanrobot lightning. Both purposely bought because of the solid tires. Yes, you’re losing ride comfort, but we chose that over flats.
I bought a "reconditioned" Turbo Ant V8 electric scooter from the company. I came a week and a half ago. This unit never powered on, and had parts broken lying loose in the box. I emailed them right away. They first asked for a video of the broken parts, and a few days later asked for a video of the screen. I provided them with both right away, but have not heard back. I called their phone and got a voicemail. So far I would not recommend this product. The electrical connections are in the handlebars, and did not line up when I put them on. I've been doing appliance and machinery repairs for a living for 35 years. I watched all the videos before starting to assemble. I have 4 scooters, 3 Ebikes, and 4 hoverboards. This is a bad as I gets so far. I'll update if they respond or anything.

@@ruwi-senpai1659 I finally did received the scooter. It didn't have much power, but rides much smoother, and is better built than the Glion Dollys that I have. It is really heavy though. I think I'll stick with around 20 MPH max so I don't have to worry about tickets, etc.
Hey there! Just watched your video on "escooters" and I must say, I really appreciate the insights and information you shared. As an ebike user, I recently came across a new crowdfunding project for the Freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike. Have you heard about it? It's really fascinating! One of its outstanding features is the ability to charge indoors, which is a game-changer. The brushless 750W motor and impressive torque of 80Nm are quite impressive too. I love how it's designed to handle all terrains confidently with its suspension and puncture-resistant fat tires. And the fact that it enhances fitness goals while being environmentally friendly is amazing! Can't wait to support this project and see how it evolves!
I’m convinced I can create a scooter from scratch more powerful and cheaper than these. These companies are unrealistic with consumer prices. I’ve seen e-bikes that are nicer and way more comfortable to ride. Also cheaper than these 5000$ scooters
Spring of 2023, Weped will be opening a World HQ and Warehouse in Seattle Washington plus a Mega factory in Texas. We will be manufacturing EV Scooters, Bikes, Power banks, 3 wheel car/ +200miles and much more~~~~~
Hello, I'm considering buying the "Mi Electric Scooter 1S" or 3. I've heard from time to time that the batteries start to catch fire or even explode, and that can be quite intense. I would need to charge the scooter in my apartment. How can I prevent my place from catching fire? Apart from not leaving it unattended or charging it longer than necessary? Are there fireproof bags available for the scooter or any special blankets or similar items? Regards, René
Dontae and Nelson asked me to come pick them up while I was suspended. They were riding scooters downtown. The goal was to get evidence of me leaving work early without permission. This is why Nelson recorded me on the scooter. There disrespect will not be forgiven.

Wow, I just found a new project called freebeat's Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike, and I'm blown away! This e-bike is truly revolutionary, combining indoor fitness and outdoor exploration in a way that has never been done before. The fact that it can be charged when used indoors is mind-blowing. Not only does it have a powerful motor and impressive torque, but it also offers a smooth ride with its front suspension and puncture-resistant tires. I'm especially impressed by the Smart Saddle Detection+ feature, which provides valuable performance insights and keeps you motivated during rides. This e-bike truly enhances your fitness journey while making a positive impact on the environment. I'm definitely supporting this project and can't wait to see it become a reality!

Smartgyro k2 is underrated, low price, his weight is just 20kg (combined with human weight 75-90kg) suspension works very fine. Decent autonomy, good power for his price and good breakes. i would put smartgyro k2 as a honorable mention or position number 10.

Try airless solid tires!
The Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro is NOT 12,000 watts. This scooter has dual 2,000 watt hub motors with a peak output of 8,400 watts.
The 2023 E twow GT sport is an excellent scooter. 28lbs 700 watt motor and tested top speed of 30.8 mph. With a 173lbs rider
It's really sad to hear that, what a shameless company.
@@محمد-م5ث1ش They did reply, and it went into my spam box. However after posting this they called me on my phone, which was a surprise. We seem to be in the process of sorting this out now. I was surprised that the first two times they emailed me there was no problem, and the third went to spam.
So which would you recommend for me? Ill commute with it
@@ruwi-senpai1659 I finally did received the scooter. It didn't have much power, but rides much smoother, and is better built than the Glion Dollys that I have. It is really heavy though. Considering I've only ridden two scooters, I'd recommend looking at other reviews before purchasing. Power, range, price and longevity are some of the factors I considered. I think I'll stick with around 20 MPH max so I don't have to worry about tickets, etc.
What's the best scooters so far in your opinion I need one
0:37 if only that was the actual speed
J have it it goes like 15
Yume 11 electric scooter should be on that list
Vsett forgot to pay for ads? Havent found anything good
I’m convinced I can create a scooter from scratch more powerful and cheaper than these. These companies are unrealistic with consumer prices. I’ve seen e-bikes that are nicer and way more comfortable to ride. Also cheaper than these 5000$ scooters
Scooters are getting better and more expensive, will they be highway safe 😅
Spring of 2023, Weped will be opening a World HQ and Warehouse in Seattle Washington plus a Mega factory in Texas. We will be manufacturing EV Scooters, Bikes, Power banks, 3 wheel car/ +200miles and much more~~~~~
Problem I keep finding is the weight limit of 220 lbs. I am taller fit guy and I hover around that weight.
Now there is the top class Inmotion Rs scooter coming on the way 👍🏻
Hello, I'm considering buying the "Mi Electric Scooter 1S" or 3.
Regards,
René
I could recommend where to get one with special blankets.. got mine last week and still enjoying it
I want to buy one of them soon
Dontae and Nelson asked me to come pick them up while I was suspended. They were riding scooters downtown. The goal was to get evidence of me leaving work early without permission. This is why Nelson recorded me on the scooter. There disrespect will not be forgiven.
Ill save you some time the best budget electric scooters are either the nui kqi2/ kqi3 or the highboy s2 max they both can go further than 25 miles and go faster than 15 mph (the kqi2 goin 15) you can also get both in the uk. Yw
I'm looking for one and need to get it as soon as possible. Any model that you would recommend under $1000? Just needed to commute back and forth to work.
Top Vídeo.
Why are more people not riding electric scooters? 🤔
Going that fast on a scooter and falling off will be brutal!!!!!!
It is 🤦😂 but fun as hell
Number 6 was OP the best from all ❤❤
Which is the best?
Joyor s have a bad design but got the same speed as segway gt2 which is expensive while joyor cost less than 700$

I paid $560 for my scooter it has mostly all the bells and whistles as some of these listed. Does 31mph and 25-30 mile range. Had it for almost a year and I’ve had zero issues out of it.
What scooter brand is it ?
What’s it called
It’s unbranded I got it off eBay. It’s almost look like the kugoo kirin g2
Power, performance, speed; Yes
Reliability, safety, parts support; Nope
You get what you pay for.
That GT2 is pretty overpriced price for the type of performance it offers especially the mileage I don't think is great and maybe the top speed looks awesome though .
Trust me once you see in person quality ,design it's blow every thing out of the water it's super stable.
were is the envirorides P1+ , 2400w , 52v , 18ah battery costs 900.00 pounds 2 years warranty
Smartgyro k2 is underrated, low price, his weight is just 20kg (combined with human weight 75-90kg) suspension works very fine. Decent autonomy, good power for his price and good breakes. i would put smartgyro k2 as a honorable mention or position number 10.
Is it waterproof the last one
Mantis king GT, Period
I agree
@robinarden8877 Well shiver me timbers would you look at that! They just got a King version of everything dont they. In the price youre looking for, The Bluetran Lightning is awesome. So is the Vsett 10+.
i got the laotie es19, buy that if you want that tickling sensation of death closing up to you. oh yeah it can go 90-100km/hr. Weighs 52kg, 115lb for you americans. Has some smaller problems, suspenstion sucks if you are a heavy guy lol.
Immediately dislike. In the beginning of the video “less than 500$”. Meanwhile second scooter already is $749
I like it!
PetroDollar americans be like:
- mm Should I go for the 2000$ TurboStupid or the 1400$ KingKongX?,
Normal currency countries:
👁️👁️..
I am looking to purchase an e-scooter. To travel to work and end back two miles each way.
Damn are any of these scooters budget friendly say under $500 😂
I know hiboys are but I'm trying to figure out if there worth it / how long they last

Kugoo G2 pro is so good
my 15.5 mph electric scooter sounds not so fast till your on it so i couldnt believe the fastest ones in these videos
Where to buy these bicycle 🚲
Wish you added weight limits. I'm 230 pounds. What you recommend?
Anything over 400 watts,
Oh, man you need semi
@@serg3123 When your Mom done with hers please let me borrow. Healthy 220lbs. I would fold you up in Boxing and most Sports. How is your cardio?
Ridiculous prices I would never pay that much for a scooter companies are so greedy!
I don't see the point of suggesting/recommending a scooter over a $1000. You can buy a car when you are entering price ranges in the thousands. People who are looking to buy scooters usually don't want to spend thousands. These scooter recommendations are pointless -Kaabo Wolf Warrior X
-Apollo City Pro
-EMOVE Cruiser
-Dualtron Ultra 2 UP
-Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro
-Weped FF
-Segway GT2
It's way too expensive and out of the price range of many commuters. Do you have a target audience in mind for these recommendations? Because it's all over the place your suggestions.
At the beginning u said under 500$ the second scooter was 799$
Surprise!
What is a mile?
I’m 70 and handicapped. I would need a seat. I’m not happy about e-bikes. I don’t want one.
Apollo City Pro please!
how did u get 19 MPH to 310 KPH. 310 KPH is 192.63 MPH.
7:52 I don’t recommend a polo city bro I had one for less than a year and it’s broke the metal part steer
4:38 I have to say this is pretty cool but why would anyone pay 4000 for a scooter when you could buy a car for that price or buy a rolling shell and a k series motor for that price, imagine a k series in a crx crv or any other small car, the k series is a power house
I need one because my legs don't work .. as of today.. I can't walk... 🤔🤔🤔🤔
If we wish to continue parking our commuters,on sidewalks, we have to be responsible.
Can he goes as a cary-on in the plane??
CHeapest one s best cuz cheap
Is ALUMINIUM with I, not with out
where are the skewterepairshopes at i nede a fix
What about uphill
I have an 800 watt that goes 30 mph. I can't imagine going 15 mph on 10" wheels
mine is 500w goes 40mph cost me 900.00 single motor , qing wing G5 28.6ah battery
Nami burn e v2 40ah
Some of these scooters cost $1000 more then my Honda grom and non of which would out run nor out last it. Cmon people why are y’all willing to spend this much on something so little?
I love how he says want one less than a 500 dollar scooter drops a 5g one on a vid lmao
Best scotter
I’m surprised nanrobot didn’t make the list.

1:51 Paltform? Does nobody spellcheck anymore??
3:10 you can go from 0 to x miles per hour in x seconds 😂 they do that for steps now too?
The last one is basically a dirt bike pretending to be an escooter.
the first scooter says it can do 310 kph?? you mean 31kph
