Now, join her in conversation with comedian Joe Lycett as she shares the story of her life in creativity, friendship, and adventure. Esme shares how she discovered sewing aged 7, and how, as a teenager she made her way to London and Central St Martins, where her life truly began. From living in a squat with other young creatives and watching Notting Hill Carnival with David Bowie, to creating costumers for films such as Bridget Jones's Diary and The Beach and becoming a star of the small screen herself, this is truly a celebration of a creative life lived differently.
The renowned English fashion designer reminds us that never too early, too late, or too soon to pick up a needle and start stitching in a new direction.
