You two are great together. We just bought a new 2025 Basecamp after watching all your videos. Airstream needs to give you boys a cut! Just bought that oven, the vertical storage sold me. Happy trails
@@JennyFieldstrom why thank you! How exciting on the new Airstream Basecamp! We are so so excited to be a little part of your journey! The oven is truly a game changer.
@@Basecampgirl Hi there 👋, thank you! Yes, I’ve been a lot more active now that we’ve settled post move. Thanks for keeping up, we sure appreciate you!
If y'all ever come out to Florida, would love to camp with you! What I can't figure out is how you're keeping the LED lights up! I guess in FL, it's just too hot & the 3M tape doesn't hold. Mine constantly fall down. But I sooo much understand/hear the fear of messing up the interior. After a year of ownership, I'm finally making it my own. I've recently had some work done on mine & about to move back in for my first camp of the season. Basecamps are so awesome! Thanks for sharing yours.
Hey there 👋, you know the adhesive on these ikea lights are proving to be pretty damn strong! It survived the Texas heat surprisingly, will see how long it will last, but so far so good! We’ve had Florida on our radar for a trip for a while now, would love to meet up! 🌴
@@OverNoobin oh! I’m not sure if this matters or not, but we laid the lighting flat against the wall of the trailer instead of on top of the ceiling, so it’s not fighting gravity as hard.
@ I have mine as a similar spot to yours, but it’s string lights & command hooks. I’m looking to change it out, so I might give the flat lights a try. If it held in TX, it would have to work in FL, right? 🤣
We just took delivery of our 2025 Basecamp 20X 3 days ago!!! Your videos have been great, and we did purchase some items you recommended in prior video(s)...motion sensor lights for the cabinet interiors, small USB fans (one for the bed area, one for the dining area), etc. We will be living FT in our Basecamp once we retire this coming summer & selling our home! Cannot WAIT!!!
Hi there! Omg this makes us sooooo happy! So so glad you found our channel and getting some use out of these videos. Our motion lights and that fan are still going strong after 2 years of use and make such a difference. You will love living in it full time! Please message us on instagram if you ever need anything or just wanna chat!
Hi there! The ninja isn’t mounted, it’s still portable and we move it to the ground when we’re towing. The stove cover is actually tempered glass, so it’s pretty resilient, however, the heat is exhausted from the back of that oven thru some vents, so the bottom isn’t heated up too much. Hope that helps!
Hi there! Yes, it was pretty simple. Once you get over the fright of drilling a couple screws in that little wall in the airstream by the fridge. 😅 We used some pretty smalls one, just make sure you don’t puncture them the wall!

Ah! And just seen where you said you’re selling your home, too! 💯 now this is what I’m talking about!
I was wondering a couple of things: How did you mount the ninja to the counter and how are you protecting the surface of the stove cover from melting?

Question-is it easy to mount that magnetic board?
