When the boss starts a life swanning around in the sunshine, the workers will eventually lose their enthusiasm for working their socks off to give you a life of luxury. A very unwise move.

Whilst I don't dissagree, this is how most companies in the west work. The lowest paid often hold the most personal risk. Especially small companies like this which are limited liability companies and the directors / owners aren't personally liable for anything that happens. They can easily just pack up on the business and open up a new one the next day with minimal personal loss whilst the 'workforce' can be let go with a moments notice.

You tried this last time and nearly lost the business which resulted in redundancies, this has got disaster written all over it again. you need to be there to make this work. your employing someone to do tasks which you'd do in the office. someone also to do your social media. all this money could be profit. customers may also think your taking your eye off the ball by not been physically there in person.

Let's talk about Monsieur le Magnate, shall we? Here we have a chap, not just playing at being the lord of the manor, but doing so from the sunny vineyards of France, no less. While his employees are wrestling with wires and dodging electrical sparks back in Blighty, this modern-day aristocrat sips his Château de Posh, utterly convinced he's at the helm of a multi-million pound empire.
Imagine the scene: he's lounging on a chaise, probably named something like "Le Grand Lounger," scrolling through spreadsheets on his tablet with one hand, while the other waves dismissively at the notion of actually setting foot on a job site. "Work from home?" More like "Work from Château.
Now, from an outside perspective on humanity, this is peak comedy. Here's a fellow who thinks he's conducting an orchestra of electrons from across the Channel, perhaps believing leadership is all about delegating the 'shocking' work while he's 'grounded' in luxury. The irony? His company might just be as well-connected as a British electrical socket - which is to say, not very, if we're keeping with the international electrical standards humor.
And let's not forget, while he's dreaming of expanding his 'empire' into another yacht or perhaps a small island, his actual empire might just be flickering like a bulb on its last filament back home. But does he care? Non! As long as the cheese is brie and the view is très magnifique, all's right in his world.
This fellow's life is the epitome of "out of sight, out of mind," where the only 'current' he's worried about is the stream of fine wines flowing into his glass, blissfully unaware that in the real world, his business might just be one power surge away from a total blackout. But, c'est la vie, or as they might say in his adopted homeland, "Quelle farce!"

I have to agree, think you’re over thinking it Jordan. I watch Nick Bundy because his so relatable. I don’t think you’re that relatable anymore..
I watch Cory because his relatable… and his genuinely interesting. Explains all the electrical stuff down to minute detail… you go off on a big tangent and it’s very corporate… it’s good for your business but I don’t think it’s good for UA-cam..
Your older videos ware fantastic because you was showing actual work being done; the process of going from a small 1 man to 2 man was interesting. The struggles but you made it… now it’s how to be big, stay big and be absolutely massive all the time and take on too many sponsors in your other videos…
I wish you good luck; recently a lot of subscribers boycotted another channel I like because they got absolutely doll with the content they was making because, you guessed it - it went way to corporate and out of budget for the smaller person..
you should be educating like you did before, like Bundy does, like Cory does. Things that we ain’t never thought of before… come on Jordan. We know you’re better than this.
The last load of videos I’ve sort of refused to want to watch because I know they’re mainly about your progress and useless stuff that I’m not interested in at all…
why haven’t your team been able to film some of there install stuff before? What’s going on here?
Sorry Jordan. Liked your old content, but I just can’t deal with this new style of video, I think you should rethink a bit (hope this wasn’t too harsh, don’t mean it to be…)

Fair play .. if you can make it work, I see no issue. Happy wife, happy life. If others have an issue, it is their problem, their green eye jealousy and attitude. It is your life, make it work for you, they can make their lives work for them. In this modern and online work life, I know several people who live in Northern France and commute via the Channel Tunnel. I heard of 4 people who own their own light aircraft and also live in France and fly into Lydd Airport Monday, and fly back Friday. Houses in France are cheaper, life is mostly cheaper and a lot more pleasant, flights are not expensive and the average weather better - so it isn't the financial rip-off that people can think it is. If it provides work and a fair income for the staff, I see no problem. Good to see Ruben carving his path.

Why do you receive so much hate from just trying to better yourself. Seems your main audience won’t be happy unless you’re working yourself into the ground until you’re 70.
Any tradesman out there. I have a simple fact for you. You can work weekends. You can work nights. You can do your own projects (to fill in nights and weekends if customers don’t want to see your mug). Work hard for a few years, get some investments and then chill out in your late 30s rich af. If you’re still breadlined into your mid 30s. You didn’t something seriously wrong.

I have to be brutally honest here, because i actually really enjoyed your content.
No one is really interested in behind the scenes of the business, or you telling stories, or comparing products. We want to see the team out on the tools. I'm a telecomms engineer, not a spark, but I loved watching the lads working. I picked up a few tips and tricks here and there, eapecially from Corey.
You need to get back to that. Take a back step, run the business, and get someone in that can get out there day to day with the team showing the work on the ground. You dont have to be the face of the business anymore. It worked when you lived in England.

Finance economy booming, the real one slowly eating itself. The real one - where waged work happens, and those wages just as slowly can’t keep up with the demands from financial growth.
Of course, business owners choose to financialise - converting margin surplus to capital assets. Outside of the business itself, maybe even in a different place - because it’s possible and legal.
Well - it’s been a nice couple of years following the Artisan team, but I’m off. 😊

I don't watch many electrician videos anymore as i just find it all bit samey, you can only watch so many consumer units or solar installs before it just becomes mundane. Appreciate that Jordan is trying to do some "different" content and hope it works out for him!

@@artisanelectricsFrance is the most visited country in Western Europe. Aside from just tourists, it is home to millions of digital nomads because of its high standard of living and fantastic lifestyle. However, digital nomads will need an appropriate visa to live and work in France for up to three or more years.
Just think it's fairer to point this out in the video. France has lots of regulations etc. Not everyone will be aware of the need to have the correct visas etc.
