Thank you all for tuning for this video! Just side note, the Gear Display off by one gear. So if it says 2nd gear it was actually in 3rd, which is weird. If any other owners have personal feedback on your 22+ GR86 Automatic, please share what you like/dislike about it :) Best - Bo
Appreciate it! Im so glad, it can accomodate all sizes! Cars like the Miata and s2k are very tight for sure. Much for flexibility in this platform so more people can enjoy
I went ahead and picked up the automatic. I've owned alot of manuals, Mustangs, Porsche 911, and I just was tired of shifting. The difference in 0 to 60 between manual and automatic. Use the paddle shifters. The car seems much quicker than the reported 228 hp. It really feels like 250 hp. Love mine. Picked up Steel silver. My buddy owns an exotic car dealership and I'm telling you, this car handles as good and better than vars costing over 200 grand. If Toyota can bumped the hp up to 300 and get the torque to about 280, this car will become amazing. It would run 0 to 60 in the high 4s.
Congrats! Yea honestly the last NA 4 banger I had was an Acura RSX, and this feels like it pulls so much harder. I am very impressed for what it is and zero complaints so far at 6k miles. Best of luck and happy modding!!!
They seem quieter and smoother compared to the Primacy HP's 👍🏼 Not to mention, grip is much better across the board (dry/wet) . Driver confidence is much higher with these
Hey man, love your message and what you stand for. We have similar taste in cars. I recently got a Corolla Hatch, sad to see you had to get rid of it… Mine is a 2022 CVT though, hopefully my transmission doesn’t give out. But it’s the same model as yours except in silver. I was wondering, since I am bigger as well, how did you feel in the Corolla?
Very nice man! You should definitely be good! Toyota switched to an updated CVT for 2021+ models and I personally have not heard of any Torque Converter failures, however if anything does fail before 5yrs/60k miles, the Toyota warranty will cover replacement (as long as your powertrain/ecu has not been modified) I felt great in the Corolla Hatch! No issues, easier to get in/out because the doors arent as long as the GR86 coupe. No complaints from me 😁

I've had the Contis on a few cars and really enjoy them. Do you notice any sound difference with those tires installed?

@@FujiboHeavy you the best. Thank you for taking the time to reply 🙏
These cars look so much better with 17 wheels
.
I agree! In addition less effort to rotate the wheels and you have run rubber for sidewall/ wheel protection/ride comfort :)
