Greeting Card Ideas - Creative Embossed Cards

Embossing folders are brilliant for making cards using your abstract painted backgrounds. You can make embossed cards to give friends and family or maybe to sell at craft fairs. I show you how to use an embossing machine to turn your average paintings in beautiful art cards to be proud of.
And if you don't want to paint your own, I am giving away one of my own painted backgrounds as a free printable for you to download and use.

Those of us who are into Gelli Plate printing all have stacks of paintings we aren't sure what to do with and in this video, I show you what I do with some of mine.

Hi Gilly .. Yay I'm first !!! Another interesting video. Yummy loved it as always, your voice makes her purr so much, she's such a happy kitty. I've never been into cards or scrapbooking, but I did buy a secondhand Kaisercraft DIY-Cuts machine here in Australia because it was a good price from a deceased estate. Who knows if I'll ever use it. I sometimes think I enjoy collecting craft components even more than doing the craft :) I'm glad I don't have an Amazon store like you do, because I would stock waaaay too much stuff !!

Hi Ally - yes you are the first! 🏆 😀 I don’t do a huge amount of card making or scrap booking either but I’m addicted to painting the backgrounds and embellishments. I have hundreds of painted papers! You should use your machine - you can get some lovely effects from dry brushing the embossed areas. Love to Yummy as always and hope all is well with you .
