Spin off alternate timeline where Ganondorf see's the war machines and abominations Link creates that causes mayhem on the local populace and ecosystem, and by some twist ends up joining the good guys to stop Link's rampage.

@@cletusmandeletusman2328 do they ever explain how his body gets.. moisturized? I hate that I just used that word.
I saw the cutscene and it looks like his body just explodes for a second, and then he's normal again. I was curious if they'd explain HOW Ganon actually healed his body, kinda like Link did at the beginning of BOTW.
(If I'm way off or missed something obvious, sorry!) I haven't played through the whole thing yet, but I've seen it.

Would be epic if someone could create a Mammoth MK 2 in the game, but I think that'll be impossible with the 20 part limit.

Fr, people over here looking like they got a masters degree on engineer🧠. While I'm struggling to build something basic that takes me from point A to point B.
I literally suck at building & I don't understand how. So I've been running / gliding / teleporting for the past 40-60 hours of my time playing TOTK🙃🙂

The bird box trick gave me an idea, what if we could strap turrets to the box creating aerial patrol drones to protect the town.

It would seem that fall damage is calculated based on the distance fallen, rather than the difference in Link's velocity and the velocity of whatever he's falling towards, like that rock.
probably simpler than that. it just looks at links velocity and assumes the rock as no velocity because well why would anyone go on top of the rock if it isn't on the ground? the answer: players!
Found that out the hard way with the platforms on the wind temple boss battle. Falling at walking speed and still died.
Yup. I was totally unprepared when I had Link land gentle as a feather in a low-gravity zone, and he straight-up died on impact. Physics fail.
@@ToyKeeper That seems like a glitch or just bad design.. they can patch out all the cool stuff, but not this!?
It's a pretty common method in game dev to calculate fall damage based on "Time Falling". It's simpler than calculating velocity because that involves vector math. (Velocity is distance over time, in a specific direction). A timer is one of the easiest things to track in code, because the hardware does it all for you.
So if you're considering "falling", timer starts, and as soon as you touch a solid surface and are set to "not falling", it checks "how long?" Even if you were falling at snail speed in comparison to what you landed on, you were still "falling" for 10+ seconds or whatever, thus you die.
The low grav temple is an unfortunate oversight. Ideally they'd set a temporary override that prevents fall damage, but it's a complicated edge case.
Someone give Link the freaking Doomslayer's Armor Set already!

The reason Sidon cools link down is because his protection counts as Link being wet, it also gives the "wet" buffs for things like Zora weapons.

6:34 is what ive been keep researching till today, this man nail it, on my version the small wheel is always detached from the wood support i use, what a good reference from this man, thanks
Now, IDK if this is true or not, but I've noticed the metal pole detaches far less than the wood beam. But as a rule, U find detachment occurs when one side experiences a significant pull that the other usbt, so try to drive evenly if you can.
@@AliceGrimm69 thanks for the info dude, yeah if i connect the both side they hardly get detached, i actidentally conenct the steer to left small wheel and now both of side still can rotated but they stick together. it hardly to tell with my poorly english.
That multi stage rocket is the first modular vehicle that i have seen in TotK. I would love to see a giant machines combined of smaller machines to break the limit of 20 elements.

Yes, Sidon's ability does cool you down, but if you've planned to enter hot areas before getting him, you can actually also use blue chu chu jelly in a pinch. If you throw it at your feet it covers Link in what is presumably at least mostly water, and he cools down. This also puts out fires.
The guy that made the 4 stage rocket should add a hot air balloon on the very last platform to essentially have a 5 stage, now controllable final peice.
The problem I was running into was the 25 piece build limit. The balloon with a flame emitter didn’t add enough height to make removing rockets worth it, unfortunately.

Things that are covered in water do tend to be less flammable. ...Except grease, for some reason.
The attention to detail with things like this is part of what makes this such a great game. If the players can think of an interaction that seems like it should work, chances are the devs also thought of it and it does.

The mere fact that you can not only create vehicles, but, engineer them in a way where they have specific design properties is astonishing.
There aren't preset vehicles that you build. It is all up to your creativity and what works in the physics engine.
For Nintendo to create a game this stable and polished considering all of these unkown poasibilites is a benchmark im video game history.
You do not have to be fan of Zelda or Nintendo to recognize the sheer talent of the team behind this game.
If BOTW was a masterpiece then TOTK is a masterful masterpiece.
This game will truly go down as one of the greatest games ever made.

Lol I absolutely LOVED that shrine where you had to make the ball hit the two targets! I ended up using one of the stakes to pin the big slab of concrete to the ceiling, aka the one that's suspended by chains. It can be moved JUST enough that if ya fuse a stake to it u can stick the stake into the ceiling. Then I just formed a paddle of sorts w the moving thingamajig to hit the ball like a Baseball.

I wish I'd gotten it on video, but my mom was playing a few days ago, doing the Fire Temple and as she was jumping out of one of the minecarts in the 2nd level, she hit the wrong button and somehow managed to trigger Yunobo and without aiming, struck the gong all the way across the lava river.
