Brilliant editing. I love Blofield picking up the phone and the cut to "It's Bond" And Dracos "She needs a man to dominate her" cutting to him hitting her, but the afformentioned "We have all the time in the world" to Blofields "no no no" to the shooting was the best.
Hey, it only makes his one movie that much greater. I can't imagine how he would of been in Diamonds are Forever!! Heck, it might have been... GOOD! No offense Connery, but you had grey hair.. xD
Oh wow what a walk down memory lane. this is the first Bond trailer of yours I've ever seen. While you've improved over the years this one still hold a very special place in my heart. I remember it was so long ago that the 20+ mb file was taking forever to download!
...and you're right. As LAZENBY'S only BOND it has "greater aesthetic value" than some of the other films in the series...(kiss, kiss)...to Mr. Lazenby : )

Lazenby's agent talked him out of a seven picture deal offered by Albert Broccoli...Lazenby should have renegotiated and signed on for at least Diamonds are Forever and Live and Let Die...
I think it was a diamond in the rough. Okay Moore wasnt the best actor, but that story is far more robust than his others, its like the Batman begins of James Bond...sort of...it takes it back to its roots and of cold war dirty underhanded dealings. I think it would make a pretty good Craig story albiet modernised.
I think he would have been quite out of place though, he had come from such a deep and moving film to something a bit well...jumping Jack flash, lasers in space...
Moore should have quit after Moonraker...his age was showing...he could have even quit after The Spy Who Loved Me...and definitely should have quit after For Your Eyes Only...
Well I would class Moore as a bad Bond. See I tend to look at the Bond film series in earas. Connery was Swave with action. Lazenby was drama and human emotion. Moore, while there where some moments of this emotion such as for your eyes only it struck me as more camp like 60's Batman. Dolton was defanetly pulp no doubt, almost Frank Miller, if I am continuing to use the comic book metaphor. Brosnan started off, action heroe ended up...as meh And Craig all I can say 'human', but time will tell.
they wanted him because of his character in the saint. but your right, the glib and poor humor really ruined some good scripts and screenplays they should remake his bond films especially for your eyes only . what a great story ruined

I read that is agent talked him out of a multipicture deal as Bond... with or without Connery a Bond film classic..
In a recent interview even Lazenby says OHMSS was "very well done"...
