So sorry Dayle, it's beautiful. I wish designers cared about making bags adjustable for every body type. The only reason I'm selling my Gucci Marmont is the strap drop is too long on the smallest setting, and of course doesn't come off the bag. Apart from that the bag is gorgeous. But I don't like wearing it. 😕 Looking forward to the next one! 🥰

Me again Dayle, an unrelated question if I may? You mentioned all the stickers on the hardware during the unboxing. Last Sunday I purchased my first LV two SLGs for a birthday treat. I just opened them, I know, a week later, I wanted to saviour the experience. Anyway, I notice there is no stickers on the hardware and scratches!!, no padding inside and no paper around the small chain. I'm positive they gave me the shop stock that everyone looks at. I assumed they would wrap new ones for me when they disappeared. Bummed for my first experience, I even told the lady it was my first time. Can you confirm I am correct in expecting brand new items? Hey Stacey I’m so sorry that was your first experience, stickers on everything are uncommon in my opinion which is why I made such a deal about them. The fact that your pieces have scratches does indicate that they were probably floor stock (I have heard of similar service at Pac Fair before). I think you need to talk to them about it lovely.
I love this bag, but I agree the chain is just a little too short for you (the lilac one is perfect). I actually wanted one of these bags (I fell in love with a leather one I saw last year), but I’ll have to try it on myself, because cross body is a non-negotiable for me.
I love this bag and I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you because of the strap drop. I bought the midi baguette in nappa leather in pale pink, being petite it works well as a crossbody, but I like to wear it as a shoulder bag with the chain doubled up so it sits nicely under my arm. The zucca print mini baguette is on my wish list, you should definitely get it 😊
This is so helpful as there are virtually no reviews available for this bag. I have been contemplating the leather multicolor diagonal stripes pink version, but would only get it if I could crossbody it. I’m 5’ 5”, but tend to wear my crossbody bags a bit low on my hip, so I fear this would sit a bit high. I am not a fan of chain straps in general, but had been warming to the midi because of the color way. I wish Fendi had released the regular baguette in the multicolor 😩
@@DaylesAddiction it’s been calling me!! I think we are about the same size, so it may land in the same spot, but to your point - worth a try with the free returns. I picked up a pre-loved Fendi multicolor pochette that arrives Monday (sort of like the LV pochette accessories I think). The LV never really excited me enough except for a few special editions here and there, but the Fendi was just something different. I’m excited for it to arrive!
Oh gosh, it sits at SUCH a flattering place on you, much better than the pink, longer strap, baguette. You look lovely (as always) today in that pink sweater!!!

Like yourself, I’m also over a bag needing to be crossbody. I’m sorry the Midi size didn’t work as you’d hoped. The canvas is so pretty on this one! Maybe they’ll change the strap to an adjustable/lengthening one in the future.

Oh Dayle....I feel your pain. That bag is so beautiful!! Sometimes it is so hard to just take a true look at how it will work for you...especially when the bag is just gorgeous!!! Just think, some other person is going to get that, who maybe didn't think they would, and are going to be so pleased! :-) Thank you for sharing this, when something doesn't work. It helps to see it, sometimes it can be so easy to keep something you know isn't going to work..and then regret it later,. It helps to see others feel the struggle too. Thanks for understanding- I literally thought it was my Goldilocks Zucca. It also helped that I had to find the money for the peekaboo so my decision making became a lot more analytical than from the heart - but ouch! Thanks for understanding lovely ☺️

I disagree! It looks like it might be meant to be more of a ‘tummy’ bag than shoulder bag. I actually really like it on Dayle! It certainly does not highlight any ‘bits’, I think it sits beautifully! I have the same problem with it and it looks awkward on me crossbody... and I'm all about crossbody! My bust and built limit the bags I can carry, to be honest, which is both a good and bad thing, I guess. Also, I much prefer my medium baguette and I feel like having the midi would just be a little bit redundant... but that's me and my thought process when it comes to my collection.

The “WFIMB” I’m wondering where do you put medication container (pot with a day’s meds), glasses/sunglasses, contact lens pot, hygiene products, small tissue pkt, haven’t got hearing aids…. yet… any ideas? Didn’t think about any of this in my younger years🙈🙉🙊. Plus I couldn’t handle having to swap my card/coin/ purse holder depending on the “BOTD”. My Hubby has the patience of a saint but gets bamboozled when I spend more time picking a handbag than my clothes. Oh I forgot anyone for a foldable walking stick? (jk). Have a fabulous day. 💐😘

I'd love to give it to my sister Fiona, but she hates brown! Plus she's curvy and tall. Never mind. Bear in mind that runway models are all chosen for their physical attributes to match clothes and they get measured and clothes adjusted in fittings etc. There is no perfect model and size. I love the Lilac. It's so you!
The baguettes are definitely not what I’d call - reasonably priced, fendi isn’t a cheaper luxury brand at all. However what I’ve learned lately is how much more expensive it is in Australia, omg it’s crazy!

Curvy and bigger boobs though I am a shorty also and lets add in the old age spread. LOL. Of course you look a lot better than I do. I think you have the perfect figure and you always look stunning. It is just frustrating that like a lot of brands they make the strap lengths so different on the same style bag but in different sizes. The mini has perfect strap length and then they shorten it on the midi just like Chanel do with the medium classic flap being so much shorter than the mini so that is no good as a cross body. Well not for me anyway and I would say the same for you. It's so disappointing they do this. I love this Zucca print so much. Hopefully you will find the perfect one with the right strap length. Such a shame! I often have this problem because I'm too petite and short - most bags are too long on me so a fixed length is usually out of the question. I have to say, I feel the double chain mechanism feels too chanel to me, I prefer the regular size baguette. No doubt there are many greater bags to come your way! :)
Yes they just aren’t inclusive enough for us all. The regular needs a longer strap option for me so the mini is my fave for the moment… let’s see what happens 💁🏻♀️
It is quite a hard print to style , my Spy bag hardly ever saw the light of day and tbh it’s always put me off buying the print again , that’s a shame it didn’t work out , strap drops are a pain , I’ve got massive boobs and sometimes they end up like horse feeding bags on me. , wait a wee while and see if your jacket is enough for you and if not at least you know the smaller bag’s chain is a good length xx

Bear in mind that runway models are all chosen for their physical attributes to match clothes and they get measured and clothes adjusted in fittings etc.
There is no perfect model and size.

I would love one but I feel the baguettes are so overpriced. I would also be concerned about the hardware being scratched by the chain.
The baguettes are definitely not what I’d call - reasonably priced, fendi isn’t a cheaper luxury brand at all. However what I’ve learned lately is how much more expensive it is in Australia, omg it’s crazy!
That’s such a shame but I can totally see why it doesn’t work for you 🙁 Too expensive to keep if something isn’t perfect!

Oh Dayle I am so sad for you. You were so excited when you unboxed it. Such a stunning bag. It is such a shame they didn't make the chain longer or adjustable. I would have the same problem as you. Curvy and bigger boobs though I am a shorty also and lets add in the old age spread. LOL. Of course you look a lot better than I do. I think you have the perfect figure and you always look stunning. It is just frustrating that like a lot of brands they make the strap lengths so different on the same style bag but in different sizes. The mini has perfect strap length and then they shorten it on the midi just like Chanel do with the medium classic flap being so much shorter than the mini so that is no good as a cross body. Well not for me anyway and I would say the same for you. It's so disappointing they do this. I love this Zucca print so much. Hopefully you will find the perfect one with the right strap length. Crossing my fingers for you. I could have all your baguettes they are so gorgeous so if you ever get sick of them you can send them my way. HAHA. Much love. Jenni from Adelaide. XX

Such a shame! I often have this problem because I'm too petite and short - most bags are too long on me so a fixed length is usually out of the question. I have to say, I feel the double chain mechanism feels too chanel to me, I prefer the regular size baguette. No doubt there are many greater bags to come your way! :)
Yes they just aren’t inclusive enough for us all. The regular needs a longer strap option for me so the mini is my fave for the moment… let’s see what happens 💁🏻♀️

It is quite a hard print to style , my Spy bag hardly ever saw the light of day and tbh it’s always put me off buying the print again , that’s a shame it didn’t work out , strap drops are a pain , I’ve got massive boobs and sometimes they end up like horse feeding bags on me. , wait a wee while and see if your jacket is enough for you and if not at least you know the smaller bag’s chain is a good length xx
