On 3rd February.
At Etterby we see various trains pass by including the Cement empties to Castle Cement at Clitheroe. The DRS Kingmoor depot looks very quiet.
At Carlisle's Citadel Station we see a couple of engineer's trains plus the Logs and passenger trains passing them.
There had been a bridge strike at Crown Street, immediately south of Citadel station platforms. It had been cleared and trains were running again by the time I got there.
On 4th February
At Mossband we see two of the engineers trains running to Busby Junction in connection with the electrification of the East Kilbride branch. We also see another train of empty cement tanks from Mossend to Carlisle Yard en route to Castle Cement at Clitheroe.
Trains were not being routed as suggested by RealTime trains! Ones I expected via Dumfries ran up the Carstairs route whilst another I'd expected on the main line appears to have run via Dumfries!
The highlight was seeing a very filthy 66301 - the Golden Drax loco making a rare appearance in the Carlisle area. It really does need a clean!
Of course other trains beside!

It had been really stormy that morning then all calmed down for a few hours. Rained again soon after leaving! The problem with that area is it is a wind tunnel - rarely a day without a strong wind

Its the bridge carrying the M6 and adjacent B road north!
Great footage of the EK engineers train. Went down to Hairmyres last night and everything is floodlit - so the train you filmed was being loaded with spoil. The cement train may very well fo down GSWR as RTT shows a PD Stirling going through Busby Junction. Cheers Euan 😊
Thanks Euan. NR seem to be sending trains up there every few hours with few coming south as far as I could tell.
The return trains seem to run in the early hours. I'mjust in from filming at Hairmyres - they're dropping off the new ballast for the loop extension.@@LeslieGilpinRailways
