- HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas - When children are brought to Child Protective Services, one might assume they would be protected and safe. That was not the experience Leah Joseph's family had when her sons were taken away in September 2022.
"My baby he told me all the other babies were sick with bumps all over their faces," Joseph told 25 News.
Joseph's six children were removed from her home after an anonymous tip reported her for violence and drug use. Despite passing numerous drug tests, she said her kids were still taken to live at the Garden of Hope Central Texas.
"I definitely believe that place was filthy," Joseph said.
And CPS never faces criminal charges! Laws need to change!
So wtf was the cause of death exactly? This makes no sense how a child died in the care of CPS!!?? *Put them in jail!!*

I absolutely agree by an anonymous phone call there’s something very fucking wrong with that if there’s nothing founded. There’s also something very wrong when judges dismiss and attempted case but Dear just keeps the case open anyway! Yeah what the fuck is going on🔥🔥🔥

CPS is most likely the same as CAS in Canada. Never do anything to help a child but do everything to make themselves appear good. Either or, both should be investigated.

I wonder if the teacher, nurse at a doctor's office, person at a daycare or Community center someone who was a mandatory reporter read the signals wrong and thought they was helping this black home and I wonder if they feel guilty knowing they cause the death of this little boy by looking at a guideline of bs to say he was neglected in a call and have him removed.
It normally takes a mandatory reporter to report something that will cause them to be removed that quickly and for the statement to be considered substantiated

All my children came back but not Joshnigue.. i miss her dearly and i believe she no longer with us... long time ago.. cps i have no love for them taken kids should not be taking. Thier liers and my mom whom was sleeping with childs father... yes she did and had my kids taken over her hate for me.

It is so much to unpack here. I am so sad for this little baby who lost his life. This is horrible!! A lot of these foster homes in child care facilities are no good people are so quick to call CPS when it's not always the best option for the children. This is absolutely disgusting . This child ess failed by his parents and the CPS facility.
