  • My old Ford Focus front wing (fender) was looking a bit sorry for itself so it was time to do something about it.

    Love it that you always torque up the wheel nuts instead of just a rattle gun Rob.

    Thanks for naming the size socket and which tools used to remove the fender. Much appreciated... Thanks

    Still rocking the Mk1 Focus like a beast. I did so much work to keep my mates going and then his brother borrowed it. Got wrecked on Vodka and wrapped it round a tree.
    After doing the work on my car I have a whole new respect for people who do body work. I prefer to stick to replacing the odd door or bumper with an identical one. Garden paint jobs are really not my thing. 😂

    Another great vid there Rob , that bolt that goes through into the headlight thrown me when i took my headlights out of my old focus some time ago , its ok when you know its there and how to get to it but when you dont and you need to get your headlights out it turns into a bloody puzzle but i got there in the end . Cheers ..

    It's always nice to find matching color parts. I went to school for collision repair and did body work for about 3 years...I don't miss it lol but I can't want to buy my project car and do my own body work/paint .

    • @OneAuto
      @OneAuto  7 років тому +1

      Yes it took a few months to find the same colour cause I didn't want to have it painted. I've tried my hand at bodywork over the years but wasn't very good at it.

    Hello.I have a question.I recently found a 07' A6 C6 4F 3.0 tdi quattro for purchase at a reasonable price.Are Audi reliable or not ? What kind of mileage should I expect ? Thank you for the support.

    • @OneAuto
      @OneAuto  7 років тому

      I only have one customer with a 3.0 tdi and that has only done about 80k without any problems. So I really can't answer your questions regarding mileage. Cheers

  • @8ile

    Only thing with the 10-15 year old Ford's is that they turn into complete rust buckets and need £200-£300 worth of welding underneath each MOT. My friend has a '57 plate Focus and it's all scabby underneath, my other friend had a '55 plate Astra and the underneath and bodywork looked loads better. But when Vauxhall's do rust, it's the floor pan that rots.

    • @OneAuto
      @OneAuto  7 років тому

      Yeah this ones hanging in there.

    • @8ile
      @8ile 7 років тому

      Has it not had any welding yet?

      Ssssshhhh.... Oh no now you've cursed it 😜

    • @8ile
      @8ile 7 років тому

      Thick layer of undersealer all under it, day before inspection so it drips on the MOT inspector so they get out form under it quickly. ;-)
