I can’t imagine driving hands-free on a British road! My car has cruise control, but I never get to use it here, there’s too much traffic, constant stopping and starting, never an open road in sight. I’ve only ever used it in France.

I love to see China's province, not always Shanghai, Beijing and so on. And the prices you pay for goods and services are of interest as well. How much the highway toll per km, and the charging per km? Would be interesting to know.
Life seems so complicated with all those electrical nightmares. I remember when you just jumped in a car, filled up with petrol in 5 minutes at a filling station and traveled. None of this monitoring of electric chargers, using Apps on mobile phones etc. one just looked at the analogue fuel gauge. Life is becoming complicated and absurd.
EV with AI assisted programs should be less tiring for the drivers. Can't help comparing how a summer road trip in China to a road trip in North America: the highways and roads, rest stops, refuel stations (charging EV), roadside restaurants (not all fast food joints), smaller town hotel accommodation, fun parks and changing scenery. All these in China will not be experienced by foreign tourists on a short visit. Have to agree China has come a long way.
@@slashsaussier Actually, the flight wasn’t direct, but I just gave you the actual time in the air. Going from NYC to Hong Kong, then to Beijing. Returning, Beijing to Seoul, then to NYC. He said the legroom was much better than domestic flights here in the U.S. It would be wonderful to move to China. Basically, the only quality of life here in nyc is what you can pay for.

Take no notice of small minded people. Sara is growing up lovely, a confident little girl will have the benefit of knowing both cultures and language. I am coming to Chongqing in September to meet my son's Chinese girlfriend's family. I enjoy your videos.

My husband just got back from China. Exactly 15 hours and 57 minutes, so just under 16 hours in the air. He flew Korea Air.
