Sustain, Attack and Blend knobs allow you to have a good control perspective on signal and you can give a good sustain with low noise and adjust input sensitivity precisely.
Nux Komp Core Deluxe can be as transparent or as squishy as you like.
A volume knob and a blend knob to bring in or out the original dry signal and a simple 3-way mini toggle to choose the compression intensity without sound coloration come together.

I am confused about the controls on this pedal. I am familiar with these terms: threshold, ratio, attack, release and gain. Clearly Attack here = attack, Level = gain, and Blend is explained. I am guessing Sustain is release, however I know certain pedal makers call the threshold control sustain. And what exactly do the dipswitch settings do? Are they threshold and ratio presets? Any help greatly appreciated!
I feel your pain. You have to keep in mind this is guitard pedal. “Attack” here means more bite, which is not far from a normal compressor since you delay the time the compressor starts, more original signal passes, right? But I would assume “sustain” is some sort of combined ratio and release knobs on a regular compressor.
Sustain is closer to threshold. I feel that guitar compressor have high ratio so they're closer to a limiter.
Sustain is combination between treshold and ratio. it says sustain because the more you compress the signal (sustain knob turn up) the more sustain you'll get.
How does this pedal perform on bass?

nice demo, really. I bought the pedal an, my god, it's very hard to understand how it works. Modes are complicated. clip acts like a dyna comp, clean does not compress at all, normal is...not normal as it colors the sound heavily and in the end I don't know what to use , my ears don't understand. blend seems to work the other way round, and volume past 10 O'clock is a boost. Heeeeelp !

@@boimesa8190 almost the same, now I keep one set up and switch from 3 modes depending on the guitar and instant feel. Sometimes it's subtle, sometimes more heavy but still I Can't really reproduce what I hear on demos. Though very transparent and nice sounding.
I also like speed x1.5 on youtube setting!
has anyone tried out this pedal? how good is it? I don't know if I should buy this or the mooer yellow comp.
Alex I already have the mooer yellow comp and I can tell you, it change the tone on your guitar, I will get this komp core because it has more features and it is more versatile. You can change the attack response and it comes with a blend knob.
