I like this, I just ordered one for my smaller jam pedal board. I have the TC Electronics Nova Modulator. That one you can program dual combinations of modulation fx. No panner or unibe. You can use vibrato and tremolo, phaser and tremolo, vibrato and vibrato, tri-chorus and phaser, etc. I like the the simple what you seen is what you get knobs, and multiple choice modulation in one pedal. Makes a lot of sense, especially if you don't want 40 pedals on your board.
Excellent Demo...I have been looking diligently , glad I found this along with a blue ocean pedal in one auction...now I can mix and blend...with the Chorus I found that blue me away Fender should have never did away with the Cheap Starcaster chorus super versatile.
I think the Leslie Rotary sound was the best part for me when I got it. I was and am not disappointed. One of the better Rotary sounds out there and you get phase, chorus.. blah blah blah... but for me what sold me was the Rotary sound Great stuff. Get your Bad Finger, Blind Faith, George Harrison thing going on for like 35 bucks? Great deal.
Thanks for Great DEMO Mr Mike ! I always admire for your playing. Today your demonstrate pedal is awesome ! But I want to see your pedalboard DEMO 2016 ! Please make it !
I CAREFULLY using an a/b loop pedal for instant comparison, A/B'd the original Mode Core against the Mod Core Deluxe- I updated the Deluxe Firmware as well as compared it with the original firmware- neither V1 or V2 firmware version of the Deluxe sounded as good as the original Non-Deluxe pedal- a surprise. The deluxe version does not offer as deep Chorus nor Unibive as the original non-deluxe pedal, by a good margin. I'm keeping the original and sending the deluxe version back.

Nice review! Please can anyone tell me if the univibe setting gives you +3db boost like the Monterey Vibe? and what do you think is Mod core better or Monterey Vibe? Thanks
I've one, so great and complete in many years. But few days ago seems to need a 'reset' because it works only in one type of modulation: anybody knows how to reset?
+skrach1000 According the Nux website "Deluxe offers you more realistic effects with details and feel" so I guess it simply has better sounds over the standard version.
no, no. I think skrach1000 is referring to the switch on THIS pedal. It has normal and Deluxe option. In the middle its the tone lock position wich is cool. The "Standard" version (old version) also had these options___ Normal & Deluxe in the switch. Go figure.....
The manual shows the effects are diferent in each position, like two types of the same effect. Chorus, tri chorus, rotary with or without cab sim, etc.
Well, I’ve had 2 of these for years now, regular use, no malfunction, so it sure as hell doesn’t “sux” because you said so. This is far & away my favorite multi-effect pedal, maybe you should have gotten a replacement.
A seven year video and still one of the best on UA-cam about the Mode Core. Good choice on the musical pieces and settings. Congrats!
Please appreciate te fact that we get an awesome presentation by someone who can actually play the instument! This is a true gem.
As if non of the people watching can actually play?
Thoroughly enjoyed this man! Great demo and great playing!

Best review I have ever seen ! Playing, riff choices, vid editing, sound quality...got.it all mate !
11:30 Like for "She's So Heavy"!!!
Love the stereo effects. Mesmerizing. Great demo! Thanks! Another NUX product added to my wish list. Dammit! Now I have to go listen to some Beatles.
and Pink Floyd
Love your playing man! Great tone, lines and feel!
I wish more people would show the vibrato in slower settings. But overall great video.
Thanks for the rare stereo recording.

Nice demo mate. Just 1 thing. Hard to see what setting the pedal is on with the filter you're using.
Please, has anyone compared this new deluxe with the former version? Does it sound really better? Thank you.

Thx! I just bought the original in used condition and did not know about the deluxe version. Glad I did it that way then. :)
Hi Mike, whats's the diference to the old? Just the usb port? The sounds remains the same?
I really wish it had tap tempo like the Monterey vibe.. would have made this thing so perfect.
but it's cheap
3:11 - 4:10 love this song.

Nice review! Please can anyone tell me if the univibe setting gives you +3db boost like the Monterey Vibe? and what do you think is Mod core better or Monterey Vibe? Thanks

Does this pedal eat up the tone?
What is you favourite effect from this pedal?)
3:11 - 4:10 song?

great beats!!!!
How about frame Nux? Aluminium or plastic?
Is this straight into audio interface without any amp?
No. I was plugged into an amp which was mic'd with a Shure sm57
You didn't mess around with tweak knob during uni vibe mod, why? So this demo it's incomplete
Through out the video the tweak knob was adjusted. Watch it again.
Beautiful
so what's the verdict? pro's?
cons?
tnx
nice
Pan effect 9:40 - 10:36
What Song at 11:30?

tq for this
Thank you for this video!!
btw.: What's the difference between "normal" and "deluxe" mode?
new algorythms
OK, now I got my Mod Core, too. "Normal" sounds more "analog", "deluxe" sounds more "digital", imho.
could be. I have the Zoom MS70CDR and is a beast for Reverbs Delays and Chorus fxs.
The manual shows the effects are diferent in each position, like two types of the same effect. Chorus, tri chorus, rotary with or without cab sim, etc.
for sale at Ali-express for $ 46,65
tocó Ludmila de Spinetta!!
Is that digital?
dany valdi Digital
OK!
Must admit I'm not a great fan of any type of FX but this does sound good---esp. the Rotary. Hmmmm...
Bass player right?
@@shckltnebay How did you know?!!
mod core > mod force , look at This shit!!!
Should be called Sux. Mine broke after a couple of weeks. It sounded shit compared to analog pedals too
