I always thought that with no agitator just meant you could put more stuff in it. But those cloths did not look like they were getting clean. Especially the ones that were on top. The water didn’t even get on top of all the clothes unless wrong level of water selected

Ya I think it was a poor choice in cycle and load. I use normal wash and it fills nearly halfway up the drum. This gets out oil stains and removes dirt. Be sure to use he soap though. I also add in some oxiclean to help out. The only problems I had was when I used cheap detergents that were powder and they never desolved right

@@dawnettethompson5825 seriously? The washer wasn't even half full. These things are marketed as being more efficient at cleaning larger loads than machines with agitators.

    • @erossinema8797
      @erossinema8797 2 роки тому +2

You can wash a larger load than he is here, but not the way he loaded it. He just didn't have a lot of items to wash.
It seems to me that there is extreme ignorance floating around when it comes to these machines. People just don't want to take the time to learn how to use them correctly. THERE IS A LEARNING CURVE, if you are used to the old school machines.
      1. He did not load the clothes properly
      2. He did not use "water plus" option or the correct water level, or extra rinse cycle
      3. Mixing fabric types and garment types in these washers is not a good idea (e.g. sheets and jeans)
In this demo I see a towel mixed with pants and shirts. The towel should not be in there. Towels are very absorbent and get very heavy. With these washers, towels get washed with towels, period. Sorry, that's how it is.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm having to buy a new washer for the first time in 25 yrs and appalled at the current options. While I don't want to waste water or energy, it seem the new washers end up using more resources as you likely have to run the clothes through multiple times. This is an eye opener.

We just got a impeller washer. One of the things that it said to do in the INSTRUCTIONS is to put the clothes around the bin, not randomly throwing clothes inside where it covers the middle of the impeller. Another thing is that because these use less water your actually supposed to use 2TABLESPPONS of detergent. Especially if you have a water softener . I mean why does 1tide pod can do a load.

After a lifetime of agitators I just bought one without. I read the instructions thoroughly and tried it the suggested way. Nothing wrong with results but I thought about things a bit more and tweaked it a bit. I simply don’t let the machine judge for me. I set the requirements myself - water level, length of spin etc. So far I’ve been quite pleased with the results. I would even go so far as to say our clothes, especially bath towels, are coming out cleaner. And something that is quite noticeable is that clothes are no longer wrapped around anything and stretched out or tangled. I suspect a lot of negative reviews might be because people are following manufacturer’s advice and letting the machine decide.

I had a washer like this but thankfully after about 8 years it died. Even after the learning curve of how to use this new style washer, it seems like this is engineered to save water, but I always had to re-wash dark pants and sweatshirts because the lack of water left the dirt and lint settled on the fabric. And the rinse cycle was simply not adequate to counter act that. So there was a lot of re-washing a supposedly "clean" load. How is that saving water or time?? There was a deep water wash option, so the whole High Efficiency technology is BS. So glad my Whirlpool impeller crapped out.

Put clothes away from the wash plate.!!!!
Adding the clothes in a circle away from the wash plate and you can see the middle point cap.
    Shirts with shirts.
    Towels with towels.
    Pants with pants.
    Sheets with sheets.
    Med hi loads.
Big huge loads are not the most efficient or effective in H E washers.
Otherwise they do a Great Job with medium + loading .
Try this and then look for correct blooming action from the center coming up every turn and clothes going backwards . Then your have a good wash .🙂

I repair washers...these washers work just fine WHEN USED CORRECTLY!! There is a minor learning curve when loading and you don't just dump clothes in and go. You also don't just dump clothes in a washer with an agitator. I hate when people get on UA-cam and try to demonstrate items that they themselves don't understand. When you load this impeller type washer you NEVER throw clothes on top of the impeller just like you wouldn’t throw clothes on top of an agitator. Before you close the lid the impeller center should be visible so this means you place clothes AROUND THE IMPELLER AGAINST SIDES!!
