Wow there were some stills where the water looked almost like milky blue! Another very beautiful video, Nat! You reconnecting with a friendly soul from Luang Prabang in the end is a great way to cap off a day indeed! Can’t wait to see where you head next!
Got up early to watch. Just couldn't wait until we got back from going out of town. Great video again! I hope you will post more from the 4000 Islands and also show us what the village on Don Khone looks like these days. Whatever you do , have fun and thank you for sharing!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed this episode. I have another video coming where I did cycling around Don Khon by accident. It was amusing riding along the river and following the track.
Don Det is the only city that I didn't visit when I was in Laos. Definitely would come back again. Thank you for sharing how beautiful the place and people are.
Another nice video to watch, thank you for sharing! No way I can do like you riding a bike in the heat good luck ! The road is good, it’s not so bumpy! you are still young you can do it! Beautiful place to be!
He's lovely, We have known each other for years, he's working so hard and spends as little money as he can so he can send money back to support his family in India. Bless his heart
I was not sure whether there will be a Halal food outlet here but Hasan's will be just the place. Nice chap fluent in Lao language. That curry is delicious.
I can't wait to watch this video. I probably can't for a few days. But as soon as I saw where you are going, I rushed to comment. Please also go to Don Khone, right across the bridge. We have not been there for several years. But we liked it so much more than when we took a ride through Don Det. And there are so few UA-cam videos on Don Khone. Hope you have time to go there. Thanks! I always love your videos!
Don Det and Don Khon look like great places to travel to. It's amazing how diverse the Lao landscape is. Once again, thank you for sharing your travels. I feel as if I'm there experiencing it with you. Stay hydrated, cool, and safe 🙏❤😊
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the adventures. It is nice to see it. Different parts of the country offer different scenery. As I'm traveling more and more within Laos ,I realize how beautiful Laos really is in terms of nature.
Laos seriously needs to take care of beautiful country. Government needs realize that they can help to enforce and courage citizens to take care of their land not to throw trash everywhere 😢
I hope soon enough. Seriously, it is so sad to go to such a beautiful place and only see plastic all around it. Back in my day, school didn't teach about how to take care of the plastic. These days, they do, but it will take ages until we get there.
Hi Nat! I subscribed to your channel over a year now, and my husband has also been watching your Vlogs. He’s Cambodian American and I’m a Laotian American. We both have migrated here since childhood and lived in the USA for over 40 years plus. We liked watching your contents and wanted to support your channel, but we clinched every time you say, “Mekong river or Vientiane”. It’s an incorrect pronunciation to ຄົນລາວ. If you’re a foreigner, I get it because you’re reading off of how it’s spelled in English. But you were born and raise there in Lao. Please, pronounce it correctly, so the whole world would know the correct pronunciation coming from ຄົນລາວ. I know you’re ຄົນລາວຄະມຸ. ຂອບໃຈ 🇺🇸❤️🇱🇦
Sabaidee, thanks for the greeting! I used to say the Lao way, especially Viengchan, instead of Vientiane when I first started the channel, but then I've got people asking me why I pronounce it differently to what's written. So, to make it easy, I just say the way it's written.
So, you keep explaining to them this is how it’s suppose to pronounce. If you are not representing and tell the world the correct way to pronounce, then there will never know.
I corrected and educated my American friends, colleagues and strangers all of the time. I felt proud that I was able to represent Lao in the correct way, instead of going with the flow.
@@natnomad Thank you for your invitation.😍😍But I ´m too old for travelling other country.Last 30 years ago ,I used to worked in Singapore about 4 years and in Bangkok 3 years as an electrian. That time I would like to goto visit Lao but I couldn't made it.So sad😔.

Would be nicer during the rainy season with the rice in those fields. Maybe sunset boat cruise as well.
one of my to do list. have fun and safe travel Nat😊
It's quite a beautiful place, perhaps consider coming in the wet season because it is hot during the dry season

Thank you. The heat was pretty unbearable during the day, but luckily it is flat so it was easy to cycle around to see the villages.
Thank you. The HASAN Indian Restaurant owner smiles made my day.

ໂດຍ, ຂອບໃຈ. The place is nice and chill 😊
Wish you had a drone with you throughout the trip. It would have done the Lao sceneries justice.😊
That's what I was thinking. It would be nice to have a shot from above to get all the scenery😊

Lao country is almost the same as middle Burma to me(except waterfall & island) in your video, I think.I have never been to Lao.
Are you Burmese? My kids pediatrician is Burmese
@@viexay Yes, I am.

I wish I had more chance to explore more part of Myanmar. One day, I'd do the north to the south.
Please do come visit Laos when you have the chance🙂
