Some have called you a hack in the past because you've bypassed mosfets before and got laptops working, but when you double checked your voltage readings and discovered the cause for the initial discovery and went further; that proves you're not a hack because a hack would have just bypassed the mosfet and not checked to see if the circuit was working properly.
I've worked on this laptop before, there's a Adapter Sense to check if the charger is fully seated into the charging jack. Both pins on the side of the center pin on jack have to be shorted to ground.
You are such an underrated technician vlogger. You are much better with anyone i've seen on youtube.
advance merry christmas sorin... thank you for the knowledge... more years to celebrate
Thanks for the video Sorin...look forward to part 2 good detective work
great video Sorin :) looking forward to the follow on and fitting the new mosfet :) and hopefully getting it working :)
I love the way you fixed things.
I love your videos Sorin, but as I've said before, I'm green with envy that I will never be as clever as you!! Keep up the good work.
sorin i learnt alot from you i do get all laptops right after your classes kudos sorin from michigan
Amazing diagnostic as always and there's a weather forecast also :) i like cold weather i hope you'll relocate to a better place, by the way i already subscribed to your helium channel
Lots of info. Thanks for the video.
welcome back sir, we mis you Bos.
Nice repair video. I liked it
This is a different way to get to the right place on the board. You put the power supply on and I think you have a short 2,45 A but you did get it to it’s not the way it supposed to be.
nice explanation Sorin :D
Sorin, dont forget my Christmas gift 🎁 : )
Thank you, master!!!
good job mate.
This is great, thank you, Sorin. I think I've an almost identical fault on an ASUS board. I'll report back if it proves to be a similar case.
