Yes indeed, there is an entire world of stoves like this from Coleman. I'm currently watching two online auctions for single burner stoves right now. I probably won't win, but you can't win if you don't play. Thanks for watching
With the adjustable flame, cooking is so much easier. Butane stoves create too much heat in one area. Great for water, not so good for a meal. Great video!
Thank you. The 502 is probably best known for its ability to cook on low. The trade off is, it doesn't really crank out the heat at high. It has been about 30 degrees F here and I've messed with it, I'm sure in the summer months it will be fantastic, but in colder Temps, it will do the job, but not very quickly. Thanks for watching & commenting. I appreciate it
No, thear is large stoves with butane, with large head too., from 1'' - 5'', with different power. And the flame control is 1000000 times beter, than coleman! In europe we only use this!!! Is 1000000 times beter, for flame control!
Thank you. I know my Coleman stove videos will never be "hits" and get a bunch of views, but I love them and just want to share. Coming up, I would like to start connecting the dots between survivalism, gardening, homesteading and ultimately farming. I think it is a logical and natural progression. Stay tuned, and thank you so much.
The Tobasco Sauce made all the difference. I tell you what though, that pan was hard to clean, definitely not a non stick surface, but in the bush or on the trail that will have to be something I consider. I will probably be carrying an SOS Pad or two with me from now on. Thanks for watching.
Thank you. It's a lot of fun, but there is a lot to it. I'm trying to improve the quality of the videos and each step makes it a little more complex. My hat is off to the people out there making excellent videos. I appreciate your kind words best wishes for a great 2024.
I've kept all my old caps, maybe one day I will re gasket them. I've ordered quite a bit from Old Coleman Parts. Thank you, your comment makes me want to restore them.
The 7 ounce can of Great Value Luncheon meat was a little much for this dish. My dogs helped with the extra. A SPAM Single pack probably would have been a better size to use.
These are good but even the traditional “briefcase” style 2 burner stoves are very suceptible to even light wind. If your using this one you will need a near calm day or a windblock

I didn't know such a stove existed.
I like it.
Keep up the good work.

Seemed like a low flame maybe the burner or the generator are dirty? Have fun stay safe.
It is probably dirty. It looks like it hasn't been used very much, but perhaps the few times it was used, they ran a ditier fuel through it.
Spam 'n Eggs

That is true. Try to stay out of the wind as much as you can in general. Sometimes that isn't an option.
Thanks for watching
The valdize oil tanker had a smaller leak….
It was bad, but a simple fix. This 502 still needs to have the generator cleaned, but otherwise it is in good condition for something made in 1966.
Check out the 440 if you get a chance.
I've got an online bid on one right now.
Wish me luck!
