Congratulations! My husband and I married when I was 36 and he 40. He already had 2 daughters from his previous marriage. We wanted one together. I had always wanted to be a mom but alas it wasn’t going to be by pregnancy - 5 miscarriages that we know of. Fast forward - we were able to adopt 2 years later - we got our beautiful baby girl. She is now 25 and chasing hard after the heart of Jesus. Jessica you are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your story and your secret.

Congratulations, Jessica! Many years ago I had a miscarriage (our first baby). Of course I was broken hearted but I didn’t know what to pray or what to read in the Bible so I asked God to give me something. He led me right to Proverbs 13:12 “hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is the tree of life”. It brought me peace and comfort so I wrote the date and the 2 names (one boy and one girl) that we had chosen and left it there. 20 something years later we do have both a Hannah and a Seth (and a Layah, too ☺️). I love this new tip to add sticky notes to hide it in my prayer Bible. I will be doing this soon! Thank you!!

PLEASE keep me and our 5th baby miracle due July 2024 in PRAYER too😍🙌🏾🎉 We are the Johnson Family and I am currently 16 weeks. I've been doing secret prayers for a long time in a envelope in my war binder. In my prayer Bible, I have secret prayers and I just make a cute decorative paper door and I flip the paper up whenever I want to see the prayer. I make the flip door prayers to keep the prayer concealed and confidential in case I ever leave my prayer Bible open in public by accident. I thank God for how He loves me so much because I've had a secret prayer for another miracle baby for years and God showed out and blessed my prayer anyway with His love, grace, mercy, and favor!!!!😭🥰 I'm so eternally grateful for the expansion of our family ALL for His glory alone. Thanks so dearly in advance for praying for us all too❤ I love you and the blessed Sisterita group.

Congratulations on that precious baby gift from God. I love the idea of a prayer bible but I cannot find what I want anywhere. Right now I am journaling my prayers and like you my thoughts race faster than I can write. But I have not been able to find a compact, red letter edition, wide margin, either NKJV or NASB (is anything too difficult for God?). Believe it or not, I couldn’t find one on Amazon!! I have known about praying the scriptures for ages but never thought about using a bible the way you are…which I love! I tried starting a bible but didn’t think about the fact that it didn’t have wide margins until it was too late. If no one minds would you please join me in praying for the bible I am looking for? Thank you so much and little Samual is going to be a man after Gods own heart right from the beginning!

Awe wow!!! Congrats!!! I have 2 boys myself. I love the secret prayer. I didn’t know that’s what people called it lol and it’s like He’s our best friend and can talk to Him with anything, esp when we don’t want to tell anyone else…I thought I was the only one that did this. I’m super excited that I’m not the only one who does this. I came up with this a little over a year ago when I was deep into prayer and studying.
