I have a 7" lifted 08 gmc dually that i plow with however i had to make 7" drop brackets for my plow because Blizzard didnt have any and also at full angle the plow will lift up on either side with the regular brackets
I had to make my drop 7" brackets from 3/4" plate steel for my blizzard snowplow because blizzard at the time I needed drop brackets they didn't have anything for lifted trucks now of course that was 4 years ago they my have drop brackets now for lifted trucks
Where do you get those brackets? I have a 2019 F250 with a 6” lift. I’d like to use my Western Ultra mount
I have a 2005 Silverado 1500, trying to decide on a 2.5 level lift, or 4 inch lift to plow with.
Make sure the truck has the proper counterweight at the rear of the bed to simulate proper Winter ride height so nothing changes on you.
wish someone did this with a 2020 HD lifted. theyre so much bigger with lifts. wondering if they would still work
They should still work up to 5 inch lift. Up to 6 actually because you have a little adjustment on the mount too.
Will this bracket prevent you from cutting the air damn on the truck when installing the mounts?
No unfortunately not this just allows your plow to sit level the mount is still in the same position
What brand plows do you cover for the lifted trucks?
What bumper is that? I’d love to put a heavier duty front bumper on my 3rd gen Ram Cummins with Western Ultramount. Any experience with that truck style, with a heavy duty bumper and plow?
Anything like that for a Boss snow plow.

Any issues with placing the additional leverage on the truck frame?
I ordered a set and will have them in a few days. The plow mounts are pretty beefy. My Silverado mounts are right up against the frame. I don't think more leverage will do anything but we will see. My truck is a 2500HD with 6" lift and 35s.
mossman381 I think a video showing them in detail and review would be a great addition to your channel once you get them in... hint hint! Im running a 4.5” lift on 35’s on a dodge 3500.... I’m not missing by much but it wouldn’t be ideal with just the factory mount. It’s between trying these or going down to a leveling kit and 35’s.
No we've had them on our company truck for a while with no issues yet

No unfortunately we don't. We are still trying to figure out a design that works with Fisher.
great plows until the down pressure pin brakes. then youre stuck with your plow on the ground. and the newer models are very very hard to replace the pin by yourself. snowex screwed up when they moved the operator presence switch farther away from the hydralic lift switch so you couldnt operate the two with one hand. good luck getting that pin back in on the newer models by yourself in the middle of a snow stom. again great until they brake and they do
Yes plows take a lot of abuse. Preventive maintenance is very important
