Apple users don't even know what 120hz is.
We've had it 2 years before it showed up in Android land. Showed up first on the iPad Pro. The patents belong to Apple for that technology and were originally used on the watch displays.

No scam…there are a lot of other options available. If you can’t live without 120, then buying that phone would be a scam, and yet for the millions who don’t care (and won’t be able to distinguish the upgrade)…they’re happy. If sales dip…it will magically appear.

Messages is the default app that iPhones use.
It’s not really copying, it’s what Samsung want to make, so if Samsung say for example want to stop 60hz production, Apple will no longer have access to it, yea they can get it elsewhere but they need multiple suppliers. So if Samsung say they will supply their screens this way, Apple will have to follow it.
Finally, the wheel will be reinvented. The matt screens are better than glossy displays;)

2. Matte is garbage. It degrades picture quality. Glossy is the way to go for OLED to look its best.

Don't hold your breath, it's one of the top 10 selling phones in the world. This year I bought the 15 plus because the guy I'm selling it to in September wanted that model. The display looks excellent. I've had the 120hz on my iPad Pro for years now, so if it was that different I could tell.
I already had an idea that Apple is gonna copy the anti-glare display. Apple gonna brag this and make it sound like it is a first! I bet my life they will only implement it in the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max again.
I wish Apple just make a pen for the iPhone!!! That is what we need and great AI features

Motorola has phones with a built-in stylus.

give me 120hz fully unlocked refresh rate and stop throttling it to 80hz everywhere on the iphone pros. screw everything else!!! i didn't pay for a 120hz iphone just for it to actually do 120hz only with gesture animations and a few apps like amazon, telegram and chrome.

To sell the highest end phone you have to save some factors that differentiate the most expensive phone. Samsung is nowhere close to Apple in terms of phone revenue, so they have to improve the mix of their own sales.

Im glad , the anti reflective coating also aids noise to the image in certain circumstances, and this crap is not new apples has been offering it its monitors for yonks, I’d rather have the reflections and a crystal clear display.

As for the cheaper Apple models only having 60 hz , it’s not Android and even the low spec Apple devices still perform well and its so barely noticeable the difference, maybe if you are gaming or something? But I think most games run at 60 hz anyway don’t they ?

I have a14 pro max 120 hz and a 12 pro max 60 hz , and a pixel 8 pro 120 hz next to me , the 12 pro max was closest to me which I’m using right now because it was closer ….. I don’t notice any dam difference , my galaxy note 9 ….. 60 hz I still use it often , its 6 years old and the chipset is a bit slower, but it still works just fine.
Trade my iPhone 15 pro Max for the iPhone 17
