Wrexham was always a club that people knew. A club that floated around in the football psyche; because of its history & the town itself. But it had drifted out of the football mainstream. Bit of a genius move to recognise its potential because there are a myriad of old Victorian clubs the boys could have invested in.
Soccer is actually football, because, they use the foot to pass the ball. U.S. Football is actually using the hand to pass the ball. So, why did we call football ???

That's not why it's called football.. and Soccer is short for association football so... Yes, a "pick up" is still a truck...
plus football in the UK was so called long before the USA was founded.
And now, despite what Ryan says in the interview, they are investing in the Mexican team Necaxa. Maybe for a Telemundo docuseries?
