I definitely had to get a handle on my social media. I no longer have any social media on my phone. I've been phone free of social media for 5 years now.
At least cut back on it. I cut FB & visit IN & Twitter not often.

I speak to myself when I am spending time with God and I sometimes feel like I am speaking to God and having the inside voice responed... And that's what makes my quite time with God fun because I laugh and cry and worship 💜🤍

The Holy Spirit wakes me up at the same time every morning. I have a cup of coffee and i meditate in His presence. I make my time with Jesus out of a dialogue and not a monologue only. I allow the Holy Spirit to speak to me and not me doing all the talking. Oh and what a joy i have when i read the Word of God. My mind is fresh and the eyes(spiritual eyes) of my understanding is enlightened. Throughout the whole day i'm focus on Jesus. What a joy it is to be on the paths of righteousness for His name sake! Be bless...!!!

It is such a joy, I have never felt so much better in my life when I started to focus on the Holy Spirit, have those dialogues, and just remind myself how lucky I am to be one of his children. 🤗❤️🙏
God is truly amazing and He does deserves our time. I am a living testimony of His goodness and His wonders that He has done for me. Lord teach me how to make time for you and only you.

I am also a living testimony to GOD's GOODNESS. I am THANKFUL that He CONSIDERS me EVERYDAY. He has CONSISTENTLY given me His MERCY, His GOODNESS, His LOVE, even His CHASTISEMENT when I am Wrong. I know that I DO NOT deserve His GRACE, but I am so thankful for it. I wake up in the morning. 1. I make my bed up .2 . I pray for 30 minutes with in my prayer corner. 3 . I journal with god 4 . I need to start back doing my daily devotional.

Praying and Fasting gives us power over the flesh! Praying and Fasting is not the act of staying hungry, or clockwatching, or watching TV for time to pass. It has to do with keeping aside all form of pleasure, and give God all your time, even during your daily work routine. And most importantly, study to be very quiet. Do not talk about everything you hear.

Fasting isnt just about power over flesh. It enables you to have better self-control with over indulging with foods otherwise known as “gluttony”, self-control your thoughts and yes over the flesh. It’s self sacrifice. I fast from sunrise to sunset 3 days or 7 days.. sometimes i do it between the moon phases new moon and full moon because you’re seeing energetic changes in the spirit world around you and give up something you’re obsessed with social media, chocolate, milkshakes... it’s also about manifestation of what direction God wants you to be in and and your path, purge thoughts m, and sometimes people as well. where you would like to see yourselfRead the Bible and meditate and pray about what you read for clarity and discernment. I like acknowledging God throughout the day because it’s more convenient to me and it makes God a part of my whole day like when I start to worry I pray and when God comes to my mind I give him his glory and when I’m having problems and stuff like that I ask God to help me it talk to God throughout the day because I need him all day long

1) I would also always wake up at 3am or around there and am sure God was waking me to spend that time with him. Some days i would fall right back to sleep🤔😒🙈but then i would start needing to use the bathroom or be thristy so decided i had to get up and may aswell wash my face. Rinsing with warm water then with a few rinses with cold. That wakes you up and refreshes you real good. Shower would be a great idea but to wake up our youngest who is 2...i will pass 😂. Takes him long enough to go to sleep because all hours are playtime for this one smh.
2) Also i deleted my fb account same as u highlighted. I opted for the permanent option. Did not send a memo to anyone on their. Anyone i counted as blood family or non blood family had my contact details so i thought it is what it is. Too many distractions and majority of those distractions on facebook are not good ones bringing me nearer to God. People posting their drama, complaining, whining, vanity, boastfulness, pride, attention seeking..cursing..fighting...gossiping , not everyone but lets keep it real we know what fb is about even if not everyone on our list is bout that life. If it is not drawing you closer to God in some way is it really of use? Is it bettering you? Humbling you? etc.
3) I had to remove some people from my life. Some people and even family have to be loved from afar. Period. There is a misconception that because they are named friend or family we must be around them. Even at the cost of our salvation?? No way. I had to remove myself from some family and friends that hinder my walk with God and are not about that life. They want to be in the club i need to be in service. They want to read 50 shades i need to be in my Bible. None of us are perfect however distractions need to go.
4) I had to remove and stop listening to certain artists because when u really sit down and listen to their lyrics🤤...Sometimes we get so caught up in the catchy beat we do not even pay proper attention to what the lyrics are truly saying. Or pay proper attention to the song or rap we are singing or rapping along to.
We can either speak LIFE or we can speak DEATH and some of those lyrics many of us are guilty of repeating at some point or another when singing or rapping are speaking death and destruction in relationships, finances, spiritual life, you name it. The Bible warns us in proverbs chapter 18 verse 21 that death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit of it thereof.
5) As with music i also had to give up certain tv shows and films. Power was one of them. As much as i originally was into it. I needed to get rid. News is another. Yes we need to keep up with events happening around the world etc but not daily and certainly not a few times a day. You notice a huge difference filtering out the distractions. It is also easy for us to hear God when he speaks. He speaks to us all the time through his word and also directly. If we do not hear chances are we are not listening our in the proper posture to listen.
No one says we can not watch tv shows or listen to music but if it speaks death, violence, sex, drugs, idolatry, selling souls, etc Is against God or his word in anyway etc it needs to go.

I now ask the Holy Spirit to wake me up at the time I ask and every morning it works so good I don’t feel tired or force to compared to when I used my phone. I also prayed to get rid of bad habits like being on my phone the morning and any distractions trust me it’s a good way to do it give it a try y’all won’t be disappointed ❣️😉
Tessa cndk He will surely deliver you. I used to struggle waking up early making me late to all my commitments and rushing to drop my son in school like a mad person. I prayed and fasted over this and now I wake up at 5am without an alarm.

I have a really hard time going to sleep early and waking up early . Thanks for speaking to me and many other people . I will pray god helps me & everyone who reads this will start getting up earlier & spending more time with our Heavenly Father !
I have a girlfriend that spent time in the evenings with God and she is very strong in the Lord. Later on after her daughter got grew up, she started spending time in the morning at 4am and still spends time with the Lord at night. Let the Lord lead you.

-walk the dog and connect to nature
No offense, Please ask the Lord Jesus Christ what ministers suppose to help feed your spirit. I had to learn the hard way and just trying to help others. Pray and get several confirmations. Blessings.

I have great dkscerment so NEVER would I allow another HUMAN to tell me who to listen to. You guys are out of order. Just because YOU may or may not receive something from a particular leader, does not me someone else will not. Learn to think for self!!! Im a natural born leader so NO one will tell me who to listen to. Maybe you should pray for yourself. You must learn to filter our things you do not agree with. Mental Distractions are my main struggle stopping me spending time with God. I feel so guilty, but your Brain Dump(journaling and wait and listen) tip will help me overcome my Mental Distractions.

I block out all noise turn everything off meditate on the word before I go to bed and pray and worship before I sleep, and turn off everything in the morning go before his presence and worship in the morning and commune with him through the day. Everyday I just can't wait to get in his presence, well I really carry him with me everywhere, it is just a joy to be where he is and to yield to the Holy Spirit. Oh my, fasting is awesome.

God is awesome, the world failed me, friends failed me and even my family failed me. I am not claiming the "all perfect girl" tell the truth, I am not perfect. But, I did try my best to be perfect for people, and trust me, it lead me to pain, loneliness, emptiness, sadness and all that. But today, I have found God and made HIM my b est friend. I kept away from social media, set a time to sing and praise God, pray to God. Today, I have the peace that surpasses all underdtanding. I have Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, I am no longer afraid of what Satan or flesh can do to me. I am not worried, neither am I anxious, because, I know, the blood of Jesus is speaking for me in every situation I am going through.
I set time to pray (in fact I am late for prayer) at 12midnight, because, that is the time the enemy set outside to commit evil, and I am not giving them that chance to harm me or my familiy. So I pray midnight prayer everyday, I start at 11pm listening to the word of God for an hour, then start my prayer. I pray for 30 to 45minutes. Then, the Holy spirit wakes me up to conclude the prayer by 2:30am to 3am. Praying between 12midnight 3am definitely scatters every plan of the enemy for that day and days to follow. I am not saying spending time with God early in the morning is wrong, so don't get me wrong.
I am still in the learning process of friending God, I pray to learn more of God words, because, it is the best thing to do. It keeps me in check, saves me in time of trouble, it humbles me, and directs me on the right part.
Friends find God, he is waiting for whoever is ready to serve and follow him. Remain blessed and subscribe!!

I think of God the same way. In every thing I do. If I have a decision to make, I consult God first what I should do and I wait for His answer. Yes, I sometimes fall asleep reading but I'm an early riser. I get up at 4:22am even on weekends so I have to go to bed around 7:30 - 8:00pm. You are right, upon waking, we must do things that will invigorate us so we don't fall asleep while reading. Sometimes I get hung up on things that I read in the Bible. I've found quite alot of surprises AND the way God admonishes Israel for "adultry". He uses VERY strong language. I felt hurt, almost like my own earth father was shouting these things at me. Now, Israel was practicing idolatry and if you do read the Bible, you know God "Married" Israel. That means Israel was to make the first Temple which was in the wilderness and was actually a tent. God instructed them how to make it. It was to be a replica of God's Heavenly Home because God lives in Heaven. Ancient Israel had a knack for straying because they would copy things that other people were doing as far as worshipping and which god to worship. The Living God of the Bible will not tolerate any bric-a-brac of something fashioned after a false god in their homes. They were practicing rituals that were paganistic in God's Sight. He even states (for you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God),
He was very angry with them and hurt, I could tell as I was reading. I had to stop, I got upset but I'm going back to reading again. God "divorced" Israel because of idolatry and I learned that the prophets were sent to bring them back from straying not to teach anything new or different. God does not play favorites and when the New Covenant was established it first went to the lost house of Israel but Jesus was rejected and the Apostles were then instructed to take the Gospel to the world, "Gentiles". Everyone is to benefit from Jesus' mission at Calvary. That is, everyone who will receive Him. I'm sure you know all this and it's just a few things I touched on that I've learned. I've been studying for years and I could go back to what I've already read and still learn from it.
