Nergal is such a charismatic person, I love watching interviews with him. The new album is amazing, and it's probably the first album of Behemoth I was able to get access to. I'll revisit their old albums, maybe now I can appreciate it more.
@@Micke_K I was testing the waters yesterday and basically listened to the whole discography. When I came to The Apostasy, I realized how much the band has evolved. It was a really cool experience. I have yet to listen to Demigod, I think, but I agree, Evangelion is awesome.
@@mandoschMUh The apostasy is nothing special because it sounds like just a typical death metal band, demigod, evangelion and the satanist sticks out a lot! And after the satanist the awesomeness continue with their darkness and heavyness.

I met Nergal in 2018 and he's an absolute gem. What a stand up guy. Easily had one of the most death growls back in the late 90s and mid 2000s. I love his new vocal style, too, but that man's growl was something else; primal!

During "left hand ov god" Nergal looks into my eyes harder than he is looking at that camera. Watching this video made me remember that beautiful moment. I have no idea why, but I'd like to think it was because he was happy I knew a lot of the lyrics. It was cool. 🤘

I don't normally listen to blackened death metal, but Behemoth is fantastic and Nergal is an amazing front man not to mention intelligent and just a fascinating person
@@EvelynSucksAtLife When you say "death growls", do you mean low and/or guttural screams, and when you refer to "normal screams" are you talking mid screams? It just depends on your voice, really. Naturally, my voice is kind of high, so I find mid and high screams easier. What made low screams easier for me was listening to what Mikael Åkerfeldt and Nick Holmes said about their techniques when it comes to low growls: it's not actually that loud. It's made my life so much easier
For me it was Chuck from Death, Barney from Napalm Death, Carcass, Bolt Thrower, Deicide, DeathCult (L.A.), Nausea(L.A.), Sepsism, Suffocation, Impetigo, Pestilence, and Blasphemy.
Orion has much more technical voice than Nergal . Sometimes Orion growls longer parts (like in "Conquer All") on live shows , as he has better voice for that .
But then again, he hasn't been a frontman for 31 years and hasn't had the displeasure of experiencing leukaemia. That's bound to mess up your voice a bit lol
