@@Red_Eyed back in the day pretty much all games came down to the patterns. Mega Man was a huge one. I love that fromsoftware is basically the most advanced version of it today.

People have been playing Dark Souls with drums since years ago. he only applied it to Sekiro
@@tegesnripendra9473 But Sekiro is not only much harder than Dark Souls, it's also far more timing based. Taking a hit in Dark Souls while you're wearing Stone/Havels/Guardian literally doesn't matter. Only buffed Artorias will even dent you. Meanwhile if you don't perfectly deflect at least 60-80% of attacks in Sekiro, you're getting mogged. And all of it is extremely fast paced, making it even more difficult for a delayed kit such as the drumset.
@@TheStraightestWhitest I don't disagree with that, but the comment said "as creative as possible". Which isn't true since this method has been done before, so it was just applied to Sekiro instead of inventing something creative
@@tegesnripendra9473 Oh that's true. Then again, the argument can be made that getting equally creative when the game itself is more creative is still more impressive.
It's easy to paint on a blank canvas. It's nearly impossible to improve a Van Gogh. You're doing the same thing, that being swiping a paintbrush over a canvas, but it's the difference in canvas that makes one trivial and the other revolutionary. That's kinda how I see this to a lesser extent. Beating Dark Souls on drums is already impressive of course, but you definitely gotta get more creative on one in Sekiro due to its many varied mechanics (blocks, parries, dodges, strafing, deflects, Mikiri, jumping stomp, Shinobi tools etc).

I died so many times to Genichiro the first time I fought him, and dude over here no-hit his first phase and nearly the second with a damn drum set. My god.
If it makes you feel better, i dont think this is his first time playing the game
Once you complete the game Genichiro becomes one of the easiest bosses

@@OFFONE He might be using the slang sense of the word "game", meaning all souls games/speedrunning. Still though, I don't know how long he has been playing the games, but he only started uploading on youtube a few years ago.

Drumming is my profession, Sekiro never fails to surprise me in the rhythmic/coordination similarities it shares with music. It’s why it’s one of my favorite games.

Sekiro is easy once you’ve played it enough, I can play better with a controller than he can with drums but he is better than me with a controller since I’ve only beaten the game twice for two different endings. The frozen tears return ending and the shura ending. Isshin was a lot easier than I thought he would be cause ppl made it sound like he was super hard. My expectations were higher than what he ended up being.

@@Aszendor for me melania is harder, melania should’ve been in sekiro and demon of hatred should’ve been in eldin ring. For me demon of hatred is the hardest boss in sekiro tho.

36:58 I've NEVER seen regular sword saint do that either, only inner sword saint. I even had a recent no R1 fight with him which lasted 10 minutes, he never did that.

man i really miss having the guitar hero set as a kid, both my parents really loved guitar hero when i was 12, my mom ended up having like 3 guitars, a drumset and a mic, as a kid that was the coolest thing to me. next you should try sekiro on a skateboard controller for maximum flex
