I introduced my 79 year old mom to this channel and it's wonderful to hear a recovering stroke victim laugh the way she does at these skits

I'm intrigued such an old person (no offense meant btw I just live in an area with a lot of older individuals) understood all the video game references lol either that or she just thinks they're funny, which I mean fair. Lol
She can laugh at this one too since she's not a boomer! She's Greatest Generation.
Hope she, and you, are doing ok. I'm young but due to health issues I've been in rehab units filled with almost exclusively stroke patients and really feel for wgat they go through. One stuck with me the most. She hated being in hospital more than anyone I've met, but she worked damn hard to get home. A couple of weeks after we were both discharged I ran into her and her husband at outpatient rehab and she'd had another, even bigger, stroke only 5 days after getting out. The gains she'd worked so hard for were gone, and you could see how shattered she was. She didn't try anymore. She'd just given up. Wasn't even that old. In her early 60's

The Danger Music skit is sooo accurate in Witcher 3. You don't even need a mini map, when Percival starts to play, you better equip a sword.
And then there are those times where dramatic music plays for no reason.
It's was gerarld's power, to detect enemy presence. It was intentional.

I mean look on his don't care behavior, after he sent an Advnturer to retrive this specific item as a result of a main story chain implements that the souls have some further meaning to the game. Unless he didn't hire a necromancer and the freed souls are the games Intruduction of a new raid boss or something. Would be the first raidboss 'accidently' summoned by your local blacksmith x'D.

I like to think all of Hamish’s characters are the same with him trying to find different jobs to feed his family after the adventurer took all of his gold.

@@pugtie4695 It has nothing to do with Shakespear. The Wilhelm scream is this very identifiable scream sound that is being reused in movies over and over. It's from 1950 or so and it's so infamous by now that it is now often used deliberately as an inside joke in many movies. Especially classics like Star Wars, Spielberg movies or the likes often used this scream. I've heard it in Marvel movies too for example, it's everywhere.

Hamish's acting is really fun, everyone is really, and he manages to play roles that only he can perform like that. Glad that he was introduced!
He is an amazing character.
Even Byron who appears sometimes in the Bored series is a pretty good actor, really good at showing his emotions

"No Return" is my pet peeve of all these games... I always wanna make sure that I don't miss anything interesting lorewise... and then some scripted event will force me onward having me break immersion because my character suddenly feels like abandoning stuff he was tasked to do and I OCD all over the place!!

After seeing Baelin's Route, the Compulsory Fishing skit takes on a whole new meaning. This adventurer could really learn a thing or two from Baelin, especially if he plans to go fight some Orcs.

I love how danger music is meant to build suspense but it's more of a "ahh shit here wo go again" music.

The weak point skit is the most incredibly satisfying thing, because there are always NPCs like that in games where you just whup up on them like they stole something and then the cutscene acts like you were having a hard time and you call it a draw or you are 'graciously allowed to leave' or the like.

when you peacefully enjoy the night in Skyrim and the danger music kicks in, you see 3 to 4 red spots on your compass but see absolutely nothing (mudcrabs)

I like how Greg is now a total NPC, not a self aware NPC like one of the first seasons.
I think he chooses when he wants to be self aware and when he wants to hide from the annoyingly tedious interactions with players.

6:00 reminds me of a convo i had with a friend on Witcher 3 he would always prepare and i'd just start hitting until it stopped moving 70% of the time my method worked
My brother gave me this long story about how he had to do all this and that to beat the Draug in The Witcher 2. And I responded, "I just used about 40 bombs."
I don't remember ever preparing for a fight with potions.
What difficulty did you play it? Because at some point on higher difficulty, you will have to use potions and oils to stand a chance

@@jimbo9305 I do too. But just for fun I tried it on Insane (Witcher 2) once and it gets very unforgiving from thereon if you do not prepare appropriately. It got a similar vibe to dark souls on higher difficulties.

I remember one of those online rpgs that had mandatory fishing in the middle or something. Seeing death knights that glow in the dark, sorcerers who can melt mountains and soldiers of fortune all with shining armours of mourn and weapons of might and magic ready to destroy dragons and deamons alike, all sitting comfortably near a littliest of pond with fishing rods trying to catch tiny fishies to progress the story of ending the threat to all life and stop the worlds end.
