Guys please help me understand thing, who is Theo and who is Harris? Been on this channel for months and I still can't understand from who the name derives
I was confused by this when I found this channel and Bark&Jack lol it's just the business' name
Again? Ok... Theo is the guy in the glasses. Harris was an older gentleman that used to handle the accounting. He kept telling Theo to buy Polar Explorer 2’s when he heard it on another channel. Theo got tired of it and had him whacked.
Rollie is Theo’s dad. They call him Rollie on account of he wears a Rollie.
Theo is the guy who leaves customers' watches laying about willy-nilly. Harris is the guy who walks buy and wears them willy-nilly
Tree Dillinger No they call him Rollie because that's an abbreviation of his legal name which is Rolando or something.
EverDayBest, I thought they call him Rollie, affectionately of course, because he could stand to lose a few extra pounds...

Wonderful video! I got my first Rolex, a Submariner, on my 40th B-day. Same as your Dad. Lol. Maybe it's a right of passage? And I still have it 18 years later but also wanted another Rolex and last year, for my 23rd Wedding Anniversary, picked up a Datejust 41. Enjoy!
Just going back in time to see this video. This is a good one! What a great gift for Rollie! It's funny how things seem/are at the time when you are living through it. I didn't know that I was poor growing up but I guess I was. But I never felt like it because I had/got everything I needed. Lots of food because our family bought a 1/2 Beef for the year kept at the cold storage building (we'd go there once every 2-3 weeks) to fill our very small freezer. We canned or froze our own food that we picked ourselves (corn, green beans, apples, pears, peaches and much more). Shelves upon shelves of food. Walnuts were gathered and maybe bought whole. I spent hours every years cracking open those damn nuts. My Mom, sister, and I picked strawberries and sold them door to door for 25 cents per box. This money paid for our YMCA dues for the year (we were on the swim team). It also paid for our school clothes for the year. All I needed was pants and shoes because my Grandma sewed me new shirts from scratch. My parents always made sure I had sports stuff so I was always active and out of their hair. My best Christmas was when I was 5 in 1961 and I got a "new" bike. I didn't know until about 20 years later that this bike was bought at Goodwill. My mom had painted the whole bike and put new tires on it. It was the greatest bike ever! Rolex! Rolex? Yes, I have them and I'm living a pretty good life. But compared to what I got when I was younger, Rolex ain't squat.

Wow, I'm not even thinking about marriage at this point but I really hope to marry a woman that will then after hopefully many years together know me well enough to prepare such a gift for me without me or anyone initiating it. I've never commented on one of your videos, but this one is pretty special. What a great demonstration of how watches (or other things for that matter) transcend the material world. The attachment of your father's watches to significant life events demonstrates watches can be much more that just pieces of mechanical jewelry. Christian, some day those watches will be part of your father's legacy, and the memories associated with them will continue to live on. Great job!
