The great thing about WDW hotels is that there is such a variety of them. So, if people are looking for more of an adult experience, they can stay at the Contemporary. If they want something 'more Disney,' they can stay at AoA or All Star Movies. I love all of the Mary Blair artwork in the hotels. Did you find the three-legged goat? Also, Caleb, which is the first DVC resort you want to stay at?

@Arthur2990 I didn't know there was a three legged goat, but it's cool they have that. Also to answer your other question, I've done a review on Disney's Old Key West Resort, which is a DVC resort. But as far as which one I want to stay at next if I could, it would be the Riveria so I can check that off my list and it has skyliner access. But as far as which one I'd absolutely would love to stay at right now the most, it would be the Bungalows at the Polynesian.

I know there tends to be a bit of negativity towards applying newer IP themes to older aspects of WDW or something. But I actually think applying “The Incredibles” to the Contemporary Hotel is clever and fitting. The thing is … The Contemporary was actually contemporary when it opened … in 1971. It’s funny; but it kinda seems like no one thought about how the property might be seen when it was 50+ years old. Did they just assume architecture and interior design would just stay fixed forever or something? Anyway the architecture reflects the end of mid-century modern era. The original interior design … maybe a fusion of mid-century modern and the Bohemian “granola” back to nature vibe (with the darker “earth” tones) that the 1970s was moving towards at the time. So how does The Contemporary remain contemporary in the 21st century and beyond particularly when its architecture so specifically reflects a specific time period? Fortunately, Disney had an IP that reflected that late 1960s mid-century modern vibe … or a retro-Contemporary vibe! Brilliant! All they had to do was have the interior design better fit lat mid-century modernism and theme it to “The Incredibles!” And then, as officially a “The Incredibles” hotel, The Contemporary Hotel can stay “contemporary” forever because it is contemporary in “The Incredibles” universe!

@@WDWCentral despite my thoughts on how it's slightly cheaper when compared to the other deluxe resorts, I agree. It is indeed still expensive.
