- Here is the new Nitecore HC65 v2 head lamp kit. This is sporting the Luminus SST-40 for nice throwing range. The auxiliary red LED is great for conserving you night vision. The white LED is great for pure flood applications in which you need a large area at once lit up in front of you. This is powered by the included 18650 cell which will give you nice runtimes. This is a top notch built light and suited for just about any outdoor or indoor adventure you may be on. Easy to use UI. Type C charging system quickly charges you back up. Head band is comfortable. How did you find the weight on your head? I'm coming out of a led Lenser h14r which has a huge battery pack on the back and it's quite fatigueing. I want to maintain the same light performance but in something lighter, do you think this hits the mark?

I bought that same light during Nitecore special sales events before Christmas. I also have a few Olight Head lamps. The NC is better all around. The OL is NOT a bad light either. I just do not like ...one little bit.... OL's schema of proprietary batteries, like that i don't!

Hello. Does the battery really last for 30 min on Turbo mode?

i really like the v1 version better. i wish i never gave it away, because i cant seem to buy the v1 anywhere. Dont get me wrong i nhave the v2, but v1 was just perfect

What is the purpose of the aux white light? It is 35 lumens with 20 hours battery life. The Primary light at 50 lumens is not only brighter, but also lasts longer at 28 hours.
For in between ranges are desired which listen in providing both throw and flood in one light. Thanks for watching!
