Seems like a nice light, however for the near $1,000 price tag I'd expect much better heat sinking and or fan cooling. With as large as it is and a 20,000 max output I would have thought it could run at the higher output more continuously. I mean yeah I realize they are 4 powerful emitters but heat sinking them properly to a well suited cooling system could have allowed for possible continuous operation at max output compared to the imalent MS12. Just some thoughts.
You can compare the MS 12 to the Wuben, it’s not even close. The only good fan system that might be able to cool down that head is theAceBeam X75 fan system.Imaleant as much as I like my SR16 and the way it throws that light out of the torch, it’s cooling system, like any of the Imaleants are toyish. I have both X 75 and RS 16. I love them both for what their capabilities are. But when it comes down to functionality, the AceBeam charging capabilities, and it’s cooling capabilities are step above.
If this is the best thrower according to you, what about the Nitecore tm39 and acebeam k75?? I think both these lights have better runtimes and capability than the Wuben A1. Don’t you think?
TM39 is great and one of my favorite dedicated throwers at on 5200 lumens its a far cry from the A1 output plus runtimes are very good with the A1 as well. Never tested the K75. Thanks for watching!

I love the laser throw some of these new lights have, I rock a nitecore P35i because it has the same kind of spotlight throw. Mine also fits an AR15 platform (it's a tight fit 😆) I have a quick release on it so I can detach it quickly for daily use. Great video, thanks! Sub!
I just got the A1 today it’s a work of art.I like you I like the throwers with large circles. I was very curious too possibly purchasing the MR90 .my wife is going to kick my ass ,if I buy one more light.I also picked up the Imalent SR 16.
It’s this one that I been looking for from Chinese videos for couple years. It’s kinda pricey but might think about this one. It’s nice it has remote to it and this might be the longest thrower. I’m going to think over this one because I been looking for this. With this price u could get MS18 and MS12 combo together as same price as this one. Thank u for the video💯
Great flashlight! But having said that : for the price and the weight I would suggest to try the Acebeam K75. I just got it and it is sweet. Much lighter and almost same throw distance but with a cleaner beam! And in my eyes for about $300 a better price/quality. If price of the A1 would be 500 ish well then I would consider buying ;)
The carry case makes it look like a theatre light, all it's missing is an dmx input. I lost it at *shoulder strap*, bruh when the light is so huge they give you *shoulder strap* and then it had *storage for smaller flashlights* like something out of a cartoon!! I almost want one
Don't like the Pedal Ring Effect at all Not a fan of the quads...its a shame... Good thrower but they could have done alot better to make that less noticeable..
I love Wuben's excellent build quality but come on, for it is probably the most expensive light and the pes looking. To be honest, for once, it has a horrible beam. What are all those rings? I just got the Acebeam X75. It's four times the light this one is at 80,000lm plus you can carry it, and less than half the price also sustains 20,000lm. Sometimes you just have to be honest and say it how you see it. The remote is useless. I used to do a lot of photography, and there is no need for that light in photography. Good review, but Wuben dropped the ball on this one, sad to say, so if anyone wants one, just wait about a year, and you will start seeing them for around 500.00 USD, which is much closer to what they're worth taking your hat off to every light that goes through your hands makes no sense everything in the world of flashlights isn't perfect you could at least say they are on the pricey side, but nope everything is perfect every time.
