People make such a big deal out of captaincy but I've never been on a team where the captain was the most vocal guy in the locker room. Usually he's just the best player on the team, not the most likable or the most inspiring. That said, Toews is a fantastic hockey player and deserves to be Captain of his team. His cup wins are because of the team though. Make him captain of the Ottawa Senators and he would have 0 cups.
