- Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg lands in London aboard a Belgian Air Force plane, before being transported by two Royal Air Force helicopters.
The NATO Secretary General met with MP Ben Wallace, Secretary of State for Defence for the UK, after arriving at RAF Northolt aboard a Belgian Air Force Dassault Falcon.
Both secretaries flew to Lydd Army Camp aboard Puma HC2 helicopters to meet with Ukranian troops being trained by British, Canadian and Lithuanian forces.
The Secretary General also met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, where the two discussed the UK's support for Ukraine and the large number of British forces supporting NATO operations.
The Secretary, along with other ministers, travelled in armoured Range Rovers with the Metropolitan Police's Protection Command.

Great film. I was on a school trip into London yesterday afternoon and saw the two Pumas flying around and making an approach near the London Eye. We crossed Westminster bridge shortly after. Wondered what was happening!!

A local resident observes:
With the amount of VIP "Priority" traffic now accessing RAF Northolt, I find it ridiculuous that this traffic has to use the ordinary A40 off-ramp at the Polish War Memorial, possibly stoping and giving way to traffic (?) and then has to negotiate West End Lane, which is nowadays heavily congested at most times of day, before swinging into the "Side entrance" to the airfield.
Surely, a dedicated, official-use only, cheap prefabricated off-ramp and bridge over the A40 could have been constructed on the Westbound A40 near the position of the old main gate to the Airfield . . similar to the arrangement at the "Cherry Blossom Corner junction on the A4 in Chiswick ?

Ever get the feeling they preparing for something Stoltenberg looked very stressed and what with the arrival of the USS Gerald R Ford in anchor at the Solent near Gosport and a lot of British military vehicles in Convoy spotted around the country.
100% after that rocket landed in Poland it’s been stepped up I personally believe because the line has been crossed

, they fly in week in week it’s military posturing promoted on UA-cam , as keroson is now back in Ukraine hands and western world are on alert for Russia may collapse first qtr 2023. What this saying they are preparing for the putin demise . This may mean putin may push the button and us and western intel will be aware an d need to prepare . Remember we are always 6 weeks behind in official news . They are clearly preParing here. Hopefully putin is dealt with by Russian people and a democracy is the outcome for that country.
The war in Ukraine is coming to an end , I hope and pray for those Ukrainian people , to rebuild their country , America will be ready to stand against putin in his last defence . War never wins❤

The competition to replace the Puma and a couple of other medium Helicopters has just kicked off.
@@Pesmog I looked it up on Wiki. And it is interesting with cool replacements in the race. But they are all a little smaller. My favourite would be Leonardo. The Airbus has a good chance of being a failure like the other NH90 Airbus. Airbus Helicopters are too expensive and a pain in the upkeep.
Most likely is the AW149 helicopter. If so, it will be built, mostly at Yeovil in England.

Where was it? A C17 and C130 were spotted together over Worcestershire and surrounding areas today. Not refuelling. Elsewhere refuelling happens a lot!

I can’t quite put my finger on it but there was something different about the two Pumas, it is many years since I was on them and obviously things have changed but something is different and it is bugging the hell out of me.
