They're constantly expanding their services to offer more of a one-size-fits-all platform for growing small businesses. In this video, I'm sharing the pros and cons I've learned since I started using the platform in 2014.

I’ve never had that issue! We should absolutely be getting our money on a continuous, regular basis.
Do you charge the customer the service fee that square charges for every manual in put or swipe?
It's built into my fees already! I view it as cost of doing business. It's also a fine line because it's technically not legal in many places to extend the credit card charge to the customer. You would have to phrase it as a "cash discount" if they use cash instead of card for them to save.
So, I'm green here. It would be great if you could show how you use the Square on your cell and tablet. Do we need to have data to use this device? What is a CRM?
I'll make a note to make a video doing that in the future, thanks for the idea! CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management. It's a great place to do everything needed in one place for your customers - so invoicing, appointment scheduling, emails, etc. I use Dubsado these days and recently posted a video all about setting that up!

Hello! Quick question, I heard stories about Square holding funds from users with transactions. Any experiences with that?
Hey! I personally haven’t had any problems with that. My deposits come in like clockwork. The only negative thing I’ve dealt with in the past was a credit card dispute that didn’t go in my favor. I made a storytime video about that a while back detailing how that went if your curious!

They are still holding (since 11/11) over $200 that belongs to me, I cannot reach a human, find the owner of Square or get a phone number to talk with a human. It appears to be an ANDROID OPERATION. I'm REALLY FURIOUS to put it nicely.
Oh but, they indicated that they took their fee from my money - even though I cant get my money from them.

I do not keep credit card info on file.
The lady who used to do my hair,charged me $2 per time,for a card.
What about text payments?
It is not advised and typically not allowed to add an extra charge to a customer's payment to cover the credit card fees. What are you wondering about text payments?
No, is not the best. You cannot pay multiple invoices with one payment . Is so annoying to cancel the invoices and create one invoice to be able to process the payment
Why is the free reader not as safe?
The free reader reads the card number off of the magnetic track on the card. There are 3 lines of data on the magnetic stripe which have all of the information on the outside of the card on them. This is very different than the way the chip or tap features work. They both use a handshake with the bank where the card says what bank it is from and what card it is, and the bank sends it a math challenge that the card needs to solve using secred information inside the card. The card solves it and sends the answer back. The bank knows the same secret information inside the card and also does the math problem on their end. The bank then compares the answers and as long as they match the bank knows it's the right card.
If someone compromised the phone or Internet connection with the old square reader then they may be able to steal the card number and details, but with a chip or tap card they cannot get any usable data because it's all one time and non sensitive data.

@@judichristopher4604 2.6% + 10¢ for contactless payments, swiped or inserted chip cards, and swiped magstripe cards. Payments that are manually keyed-in, processed using Card on File, or manually entered using Virtual Terminal have a 3.5% + 15¢ fee. Invoices cost from 2.9% + 30¢.
