Its a jeep, its already integrated into its body, I had a buddy who flipped on the road by my house in the country on my old XJthat I sold him. It's actually still runs and drives not on the road anymore but it's just a field beater now
Looks like so much fun! I hope you'll continue to race the Jeep because I think a lot of us who watch your channel are into drag racing. Anyway, I enjoy everything you have to show us and look forward to your new posts. Thanks!
Other than fabrics and Robby Layton this is becoming one of my most favorite channels I love your humor I love the projects keep it going boss I think my favorite project is the covered wagon I would really like to see that with a long arm kit to really get some Flex out of that suspension and more power maybe w/ a buck board seat like the ol covered wagons werebut w/ safe seats insted of a board and a motor cover lincoln lockers maybe a rollbar over your nagen im sure theres plenty of ideas for your projects in your head can only imagine what goes on in your head with all your projects
Awesome job! I knew it would be a performer, sounded super healthy! Lol, I was a little surprised to see that Reliant Robin in the lineup... I can't even imagine what it would be like to go fast in one of those!
James, if you need more of those PBR overflow cans to make, I'll drink them first. Duct Tape Drags sounds cool. Seen many footages on other car channels. I'd attend, but I do not like where it's at. I don't like the lower half of Arizona, nor do I like Tuscon. Armpits of the Southwest.
Well done!!!!! except for a few mechanical gremlins which is expected on anything that is bodged together you still achieved your goals and had fun doing it.
That's very cool what you got to go and do the Jeep you built was freaking badass. And that year the vanishing paint Challenger Derek from vice grip garage now owns that car goes for the I think the last races he bought it after all that
I think you had the most interesting vehicle out there, I was watching Liv Scaffidi and Travis and seen you run, had to look you up on UA-cam, nice job ! Never would have guessed a 440 Flywheel with the added weight would work out
Thanks, I appreciate that! Yeah, I half expected the flywheel to be a complete fail, but I was surprised it worked great. I even yanked the motor and I'm using it in my '51 Ford sand buggy now. I'll pop it back in the Jeep for the next duct tape drags...
If there was those heatgun solder connectors in wires at any circuit that started cutting it could be the problem. They look nice but dont necessarily make good connection cause solder and wires wont heat enough. Good old press connectors and heatshrink on top is the best solution specially for places where wires wiggle.
freaking fantastic! i bet you made a few people want a zj. this thing turned out to actually be pretty fast. seems like the transmssion took the 5.9's abuse pretty well, too. i wish you got to race longer. but she'll see more track, right?
Thanks! Its actually the 2wd ZJ tube front axle now, but I'm thinking of putting that on a diet. I certainly don't need those big vented brakes anymore!
I've run into them a few years back, great guys and really love cars. Dulcich even went ahead and re-routed my plug wires himself with zip-ties because they were close to the headers, and he didn't want me to run into a misfire.
lve seen every roadkill, VGG, Puddin's, etc shows for years and for whatever reason even w/ my severe ADHD this channel holds my attention better than any. Even on equipment l have no interest in. The show on wiring was a jewel. l wouldve killed to have had that as a kid 40+ yrs. ago.
Saw you on the Vice Grip Garage in line for a run. Looking' good!
Thanks!
*- Pulln' the front wheels. That's cool." Agreed. Especially the way you say it. THAT Is cool ! ! !*
Im Late to this Low Buck Party.... but you defiantly put out content that I truly enjoy! Keep it up!
I really appreciate you and your channel. Keep it up. Darlington, South Carolina
James, glad to see you psyched about all your hard work. Me too.
I just noticed. No roll cage. Perfect!
Its a jeep, its already integrated into its body, I had a buddy who flipped on the road by my house in the country on my old XJthat I sold him. It's actually still runs and drives not on the road anymore but it's just a field beater now
Great video series. Great story. Great fun.

Congrats! Must be a great feeling building something cheap that beats the rest (for the most part).
Thanks, the $'s per fun ratio is great!
I built a 80 Camaro drag car for $2500 total investment and it did a 10.80. there is nothing better than building cheap.
Very impressive. All that hard work paid off. I can’t wait to see more!
Thank you!
Seriously enjoy the content, thx for the straightforward true"low buck" approach. Some of us old point filers really get it.
Glad you enjoy it, I've got a lot more on the way!

Nice runs all the way around! That was a good showing in the battle of the beaters!!
Awesome job! I knew it would be a performer, sounded super healthy! Lol, I was a little surprised to see that Reliant Robin in the lineup... I can't even imagine what it would be like to go fast in one of those!
Thanks! It must have been interesting driving that Reliant; I thought my vehicle was sketchy, but that has to be another level!

Me too, he does some good stuff!
I was sitting behind the fence there by the tower during the judging process, got to see you go through.
James, if you need more of those PBR overflow cans to make, I'll drink them first.

Great job all the way around 🤠
Always wanted to make my own cheap zj dragster! Nice work super cool
Well done!!!!! except for a few mechanical gremlins which is expected on anything that is bodged together you still achieved your goals and had fun doing it.
Thanks! I was glad nothing major broke, I'll sort out those gremlins and be back at it next year!

THE CRAIG in the Ford truck has lots more than 3k in engine. Oh on Christmas tree leave on last yellow before green. Don't wait for green .
That's very cool what you got to go and do the Jeep you built was freaking badass. And that year the vanishing paint Challenger Derek from vice grip garage now owns that car goes for the I think the last races he bought it after all that

My goal is to have a beater burnout rig next year.

Thanks! It will definitely be back on the track, I'm already planning upgrades like that spare Dana 44a I have lying around...
I Had FAITH In You! I Knew You Could Do It!
Nice I saw one run of yours on vice grip garage, looked and sounded good!
Thanks 👍
".. It was cold and my car didn't start... Luckily there was a nice guy with a hammer that leaned over my starter and fixed that.." 😏👌👌👌😂
that was cool!
I saw it!! I saw the hop!!!
I couldn't believe it when I caught it in the video, but apparently it was real!
Ya Done G00D, You got your 100mph time. Very Well Done. Indeed👍🏾
Thanks! 👍
Hi ,you did great , put a tube stright axel in the frunt end and you might get both wheels off the ground , less weight.
Thanks! Its actually the 2wd ZJ tube front axle now, but I'm thinking of putting that on a diet. I certainly don't need those big vented brakes anymore!
@@LowBuckGarage good luck with the mods.

Very cool! Man, you are really banging the gears in that tranny! Great showing for a pretty much new combo! V8 ZJ's RULE!
@ 9:25 They are not laughing at you. I went and asked them. They aren't laughing any more.😂
This the one! I just happened upon it. Watch the tree.

GRAVITY!!
I had to leave that clip in, glad it was appreciated!
If you watch ViceGrip Garage 's video of the same day you can see clearly that yes you do do a wheelie.
I was stoked to see that, he had a really great view. I didn't even see him there filming!
If you are not having fun, you are doing it wrong.
